To be honest, I don't care if people believe me or not. What I do care about is being treated with a level of respect. It's okay to say to me "I don't believe it," but don't call me names or belittle me.
If you go back and read the link to my 30 losing blackjack hands in a row thread - I was treated horrifically.

Hey Mickey Who were you talking to last night?
Take off that stupid mask you big baby.

His TR's get the most views over there, nobody else is even close.

He won't be able to respond to the PM but perhaps it might get him to join over here.

Thank you both - I joined here mere hours ago and was already subjected to the same nonsense for not revealing in which casino I play blackjack

I thank you for the invite and wish you all the best but I have asked Alan to delete my profile - I will stay away from message boards from now on and merely journal my blackjack trips for my own review.

    Well that sucks...won't you reconsider?

Don't let the snipers and vipers chase away all the superstars, you chase them away instead...like the St. Patrick of AlanBestBuys

Well I welcome your sentiments - you can see he is becoming more hostile over in my introduction thread - now wanting to place "VERY" large wagers that my account here is "phony"

Ace I am hoping you really will stay around. We know you will make a lot of worthwhile contributions here -- just as I told you in the email a few minutes ago. And I look forward to our dinner in Vegas. We know you have a credible history. Please reconsider. You're too valuable to lose.

Good luck here, sorry to see you leave the other site, though it is
surely the better part of valor.

But to be honest, there is no where to go if you actually want to ask
questions or start a conversation about anything that goes against the
    crowd.

I noticed that you did not answer my email or respond in any way to
anything I have said recently.... so I suspect it will be the same here,
but just wanted to stop by and say best of luck in your craps
    discussions.

Hi dicesetter thanks for coming by. I did not see any emails from you so if you don't mind posting or sending them here. I would never ignore you or anyone else.

    P.S.
My wife and I would like to take a drive and explore places in northern Idaho and northwestern montana this spring. Any suggestions? Thanks.
We are actually not that far from the Canadian Border. Maybe a hundred miles. I've never been to a casino up there. In Idaho the only casino I've been to recently is Couer D'Alene Casino just south of Couer D'Alene. They have lots of stand alone Mystery Progressives (must hit by's). I was only there for one day scouting the place out. I didn't get a play on the Mystery Progressives. But they have lots of UX's that I got plays on. I don't think there is any one there working them. But after you sweep through them one time you get to stand around and watch the paint dry. The joint is about 85% line games and 15% video poker. The line games get most of the action. It's not really worth hanging out there but it's okay to stop for the one time sweep on the UX's.

For Montana I would suggest Joker's Vault which I wrote about in the Strategic Gambling 101 thread. Look for high numbers in the progresive meter. To be positive the meter needs to be above $250. You can bet up to $2 a hand but only need bet 50 cents to qualify for the meter.

If I told you that I entered a drawing that had 1,000,000 entrants and I won would you believe me?
If I told you that the next drawing I entered had 3,000,000 entrants and I won that one too would you believe me? That's odds of 3 trillion to 1. Would you believe me if I told you this?

Well, I was feeling my oats. I was trying to impress this chick at the bar. I impressed her pretty good because she came home with me. Felt like chewing my arm off the next morning.

If I told you my neighbor on Bar Harbor Court in Valencia won the California lottery twice would you believe me? If I told you I interviewed four presidents and escorted the Queen of England and the King of Spain around New York City as part of a special news event would you believe me?

I was at a craps table and saw 18 yo's rolled in a row. Everyone who doesn't believe me tells me that the odds of that happening are astronomical. Yet, no one was there to say I was mistaken. Repeat: yet no one was there to say I was mistaken. They only say the odds of that happening are not believable.

Believe what you want. It's no skin off my nose.

Here's the reason I asked these questions. In 1995 Gillette had a drawing contest to get a chance to sink a 10 foot putt for $1,000,000. Miss the putt and you get a $50,000 consolation prize. There were over 1,000,000 entrants. John Brinson won the contest. He missed the putt.

In 1997 Gillette had a drawing contest to get a chance to sink a free throw from beyond the 3-point line for $1,000,000. The consolation prize was $50,000. There were over 3,000,000 entrants. And the winner of the contest was....JOHN BRINSON! He missed the free throw.

    This is documented history.

Yet you quit the WOV forum over this...we miss you over there.

  15. #75
I quit over the insults. Not because anyone said they didn't believe me. Don't believe me - but don't insult me.

  16. #76
But yet you keep going over there and signing in...

Alan, log out on WoV. Then when you lurk the site they won't see that you visited the site with your name in red down below.

  18. #78
Well, this is funny. Someone on WoV insulted Alan saying he only had 3 members over here. I just took a look. There are currently only 9 people viewing over there while there are 46 people viewing here.

I've been the witness myself at a craps table to things that people might consider impossible to see: (1) Last year, at The Linq, I saw someone roll for over an hour, hit 21 points according to the dealers, and eventually all six fire bet points. A lot of people made a lot of money on the roll, several shooters at $5 or $10 on the fire bet. The shooter wasn't on the fire bet and probably made about $500, since he was only playing the six and eight and never pressed a bet. This doesn't quite fall into the "impossible" category, but it was the longest roll I have ever seen. (2) Two or three years ago, again at The Linq, I saw two consecutive shooters throw six-point fire bets. Both rolls were over in a half-hour, they literally hit six different points in a row and then sevened out. There weren't a lot of players at the table, but two players did have $5 on the fire bet for the first roll. Of course, in both instances, I was at a different table.

My conclusion is when dealing with long odds, the only time something is impossible to witness is when the odds are 0%. If you play long enough, you're going to be present for some pretty weird things.

It also doesn't count people who have they're settings to invisible. Alan could do that as well.
