Will keep you updated on my daily sessions... Went to Hollywood

I started at $1 progressive Double Double was $4,372.34 when I started bought in for $300 got down to $130 then hit 4-9's... Walked away at $380

Then went to FRENZY played .10's because you get 10 hands it's $6.00 a spin.. For .25's they only give you 5 hands max.. Not enough hands for me
Sad to say I lost all $380 only got FRENZY 3 times in all that coin in.. Which is very rare for that machine...

Stopped by Top Dollar bought in for $300 it's $15 per spin... Got two offers never more than 30 credits I accepted.. Cashed out with $100

    Bought in : $600
    Cashed out: $100

LoneStarHorse are you primarily a slots player? And how do you pick the games you play? Thanks.

I play slots 75% of the time, 25% Ultimate Texas Hold Em table & Blackjack..
I always play the $1 progressive to start... Then play FRENZY then Quick Hits & Top Dollar...

Why FRENZY then Quick Hits & Top Dollar?

  9. #9
    Alan

I've made very good money on FRENZY...Quick Hits racks up tier credits much quicker, Top Dollar let's just say I'm a sucker for this game... Just mindless button pushing with nice potential payouts.. Especially Double Top Dollar you play it for $10 a pull $20 a pull or $50 a pull...

I never played Top Dollar but in the high limit room at Caesars (Palace Court slots) I see players at the $100 machine getting payouts of $8,000 or $10,000 all the time. I have no idea how many credits they are playing.

Top Dollar or Double Top Dollar are mostly 2 credits, the 3 credit one aren't worth it.... I strongly suggest Double Top Dollar over Top Dollar

As a rule I don't play slots, except for Wheel of Fortune. Thanks.

WOF hit for $3mil last Saturday

    http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/n...753d6d4c2.html

Over the last four years, only a single jackpot has eclipsed Saturday’s $3,084,922.63 win. It came on the penultimate day of 2012, when a Wheel of Fortune machine at Borgata unloaded a $3.8 million win.

The only reason I play WOF is that I was told that since its a wide area progressive all casinos have the same hold or payback on the machines. If that's not true, someone please tell me.

It's not true. The only thing that must remain constant between all of the WOF's, for a specific meter, is the odds of hitting it relative to the bet wagered. But they do not have to have the same return.

I'm curious how you got that information? The reason I was told that they have all the same return is that as a wide area progressive a portion of every bet goes to fund the wide area progressives and for that reason all of the machines are standardized. I got that from some casino employees -- but I won't vouch for them. They could have the wrong info.

And if what they said was wrong then I will forever stop playing it -- though I play it only maybe once or twice a year.

DRich posted a direct response to your post on WOV:

Recently some companies have released multi=denom games on the same progressive. In that case the odds have to be the same relative to the bet. ie. A $1 denom game with a max bet of $3 will have the same odds as the $0,01 game with a max bet of 300. If a two coin $0.25 game was on the same progressive it would be six times the odds of the dollar and penny game.

With that said the payback percentages of the games do not have to be the same, just the odds of the top jackpot.
Casino employees are generally very bad about giving out proper information. It's not because they're trying to hurt you, but, they've been misled.

But this isn't to say the games do not have the same return, it just means they do not have to have the same return.

Give me the simple English version of the answer? When I play the $1 WOF at Caesars does it have the same odds as the $1 WOF game at NYNY? Thanks.
