Maybe, maybe not. You'll never know unless you see a slot tech show you.

Chance of hitting it = must be same at both (assuming they're on the same progressive link).
Payback/return on machine = it can be different.
Very long but profitable day...I started with $500 on $1 progressive which was $4,876.23 Double Double.. I got 4-6's within a few hands then got 4-9's kept going got 4-3's no kicker and 4-4's with kicker.. After 3 hours cashed out with $2,200 that's a $1,700 profit.. Had lunch at Bobbys Burger.. Went to Ultimate Hold Em table bought in for $1,500.. Got quad 8's and a straight flush over 2 1/2 hours.. Cashed out with $4,200
With a nice cushion played Double Top Dollar for $20 a pull made $600 in 45 mins
Final machine $5 Quick Hits it's $45 a pull got two hand pays $5,423 and $3,700
Top a nice day watching the Bengals lose in final seconds... Truly a wonderful day
Off to Hollywood for a 2-3 hour session.. I've found out early Monday has been good to find the "full" machines that need a little relief.....
Are you talking about "must hit by" slots or regular slots and video poker? Because if you are talking about regular slots and video poker there is no such thing as a "full machines" or machines that are due to hit.
If you really believe a machine is "due" head over to Caesars Palace where the last of a three-reel Red-White-Blue kiosk of progressive slot machines sits with a jackpot of about $400-thou waiting to be hit. It's been "due" for more than the past ten years. By the way, the progressive amount has been frozen and has stopped growing. What remains is the "players' money" from the old progressives. It's $3 per play.
Today I did my thing backwards bought in to Ultimate Texas Hold Em for $500. Played an hour lost $200
Went to $1 Double Double Progressive it was $4,834.37 Aces with a kicker was $537.52 played for 1 hour and a half ... Lost $300
Went to Wheel of Fortune $20 a pull lost $200 in ten spins....
Lost $700 for the day....
The last of the Red-White-Blue progressive slots is between the mini dome and Rao's located along the walkway thru the slot machines in that section of the Palace casino. If you were to stand looking at the RWB slot the walk way to David's statue would be to the right of you and the cage would be to the left of you. If you are standing in the mini dome, the RWB machine would be facing you but down the walkway.
I'm going to just play Ultimate Texas Hold Em and FRENZY today... Woke up early to get my session in before some big snow comes along... Winter has arrived...

My host in Cincinnati is Jen Starks, in Hollywood its Ken nice kid I've known since Horseshoe Southern Indiana days when he moved to Hollywood he recruited me.
My offers are staying the same, this Saturday Night I'm in the drawing to win a Mercedes in Cincinnati. Only 250 got invited. They are giving away two of them
Played for 5 hours. Three of my hours on FRENZY found a machine that was just in a nice cycle... Made $1,400 tax free dollars... Then played 2 hours Ultimate Hold Em lost $100, came home with $1,300 more than I left with nice day... We got about 4 inches of snow so far
I should be in the Top 100 but since I'm 75% of the time a Video Poker Player they don't recognize my tier score or ADT..
I discussed this many times with Kevin Kline & John Meecham they both were playing the part they cared but they didn't.
First year Horseshoe Cincinnati opened I had Dan as my host, he was the best.. Then something happened he left..
My tier score for year end 2014 was 765,000 yet I wasn't a top 100 player go figure
