Very unlikely I would show up because there won't be any promotions including gifts or free play.
I was invited to the Caesars "party" for the big game which is traditionally being in a ballroom with hot dogs and hamburgers in a buffet and they give a hat as a gift, and maybe have some drawings for prizes like jerseys. They might even have a retired player there to sign autographs and take photos but I didn't see that in this year's invitation.
To me that's a waste of a trip because the casino will be crowded and the table game limits will probably be high.

This is my 6th consecutive Super Bowl weekend in Vegas. The food at Paris's party is far from hot dogs & hamburgers. It's jumbo shrimp, prime rib, wings, different types of hot and cold sandwiches.
You get a cap & T-shirt as your gift...
I truly could care less about the free play IMO Super Bowl Weekend is the best weekend of the year in Vegas...
I'm not much of a buffet person. What you describe at Paris sounds like what Caesars had for the 4th of July pre fireworks. I went to one of the carving stations, got a dessert, and wasn't very satisfied with the experience. I'd prefer going to a restaurant and being served a nice meal.
The one year I was in Vegas for the Superbowl I watched in my hotel room and didn't bother going to the party. I had room service during the game.

There are 364 other days to go to a restaurant for a nice meal, only one day a year for the Super Bowl...I'm a sports person had season tickets for my local Hockey,Baseball teams for 25 years... Would try to never miss a home game...
I go to Vegas for the fun, not the food... Plenty of very good restaurants in Ohio & Texas....
Went to the Cosmopolitan party in 2013 through an offer from my home casino. Made a quick showing then left.
Same rules as the "big win" thread here. You have to provide video proof.
Update:
I have cancelled my rooms at Paris for Super Bowl Weekend.. Rebooked at Wynn Encore they are giving me more than Caesars and it's my first time staying there...
I had a long chat yesterday with my host in Vegas, we discussed the Seven Stars program I didn't like a word he said...
I will go to New Orleans stay in their hotel won't play a penny, will enjoy the balcony and food,drinks... I "earned" this pleasure...
I'm in a drawing to win a Mercedes on Saturday, at my home property... Only 250 invited two winners, would be foolish to cancel on that. After that I'm no longer going into a Caesars property...
Wynn will be my first choice in Vegas from now on... As I've stated I'm in a casino 40 weekends a year, I'm a free agent and will start calling places to see what they will offer
Shop til you drop, LoneStar. They should fall over themselves for a player like you.
Coach
I came from a privately owned company, where every penny we spent was ours.. Caesars spends other people's money, then when they get jammed up they cut their lower salaried employees hours, benefits. Then they cut their players offers down. Meanwhile they get their full pay and stock options... Gary Loveman should have left in handcuffs not rewarded with bonus and severance.. Under his "leadership" they went bankrupt...
He said things will get worse before they get better.. I look at the big picture not to eat at Gordon Ramsey's or see Elton or Celiene..
I used to feel like my play was appreciated now I feel they expect it..well guess what I'm not turning back.. I'm done...
You are taking a moral high road against the Evil Empire?
Alan
Not a moral high road, I liken Caesars to the Titanic. This once mighty unsinkable ship is now definetly sinking there is NO way out of their bankruptcy..They have only one valuable asset their players program, I see them selling it off to the highest bidder.. Sad to say many will be the band players on the ship. The ones who keep playing because of blind loyalty.
Me on the other hand, I gamble for enjoyment not out of necessity. My kids are both in their 20's so we are "empty nesters"
Thus we are in casinos 40 weekends out of the year...
When I called the Wynn blindly yesterday I got a host he asked me a few questions took my TR number and my wife's. He then called me back offered me three suites for Super Bowl Weekend. Dinner for my entire party Saturday night and spa options....
The only "asset" of a players program is the mailing list and history of play. Who would buy it and what good would it do you if you did buy it?
As a mailing list or a phone list it would have limited value to other than casino companies. For other casino companies having the list would not mean that they could entice Total Rewards customers to their properties.
Getting real for a moment: every casino has a players list. I think the talk about Total Rewards being valuable has been over-hyped. Frankly, I would value it as "zero."
