Just like I do.
So Arizona is not a hick state? You make me laugh, martingale robbie. Oh, and Pahrump? What a fricking joke.

You're funny mickey. Now put up a picture of your junk vehicle, dumpy apt., and then stop putting up unsupported pictures of cash.

Oh wait!....some toothless hag stole everything last night while you were using your Detroit piston!

"and then stop putting up unsupported pictures of cash."

Wait, isn't that what you were doing?

In 1981, I made a $100 bet for the San Francisco 49ers to win the NFC at 20-1 and another $100 bet for them to win the Super Bowl at 50-1. I won both bets knowing the Bill Walsh offense led by Joe Montana and the drafting of Ronnie Lott, Carlton Williamson, and Eric Wright with the addition 49er killer Jack "Hacksaw" Reynolds would be a great bet.

So I went to the NFC Title game vs the Dallas Cowboys and bought tickets in the end zone where Dwight Clark made to catch from Montana to win the NFC bet. So I had the worst seat in the house, but the best seat in NFL history as I saw Clark's hands catch the TD within feet of me. My pocketbook swelled! I still get goosebumps when I watch this video!!

I remember the game. I watched it from Fairbanks, Alaska.

I'm rooting for you today, LoneStar. You had some testicular gravitas to ML both KC and GB. I'll check what numbers I had available and report back in a bit. I have Green Bay at 35-1 to win the SB, but I'm hedging that today with previously open teasers (I save some for a rainy day) as I can't see any way on God's green earth they beat Arizona. I have, however, been abundantly wrong before. I'm also rooting for the Chiefs, as I have Denver at 14-1 to win the SB, and it's in my best interest in terms of hedging if KC takes down New England.

Okay, it was best to wait on the ML wagers, as favorite money came late. It usually comes late, but to be honest, I did not know what to expect. You could have snagged a +223 on the Chiefs one location and a +270 on Green Bay.

What this means is that LoneStar is certainly not cheating in his reportage. If anything, most people would do better.

Packers are playing the game the way they need to do it. Hanging in there by the skin of their teeth.

I think Palmer's damaged finger is an issue -- he's overthrown some red zone balls pretty badly.

Going to need more miracles down the stretch.

I'm still trying to understand how ANYONE claiming to be a feared sportsbettor could in their right mind bet the ML against the Patriots in the playoffs, at home, and at or near full strength....esp. vs. a chump team like KC.

  12. #52
I don't think LoneStar is wearing a "feared sports bettor" shirt.

  13. #53
Either way, no one who likes money does that unless they have a torrid hatred of the Pats.

I hope Lone Star wins these bets. But when I see the number of sports and the number of conferences that he bets, I question how anyone can have the expertise in that many areas. Now he doesn't claim to be an expert and, although he bets large amounts, these amounts may be meaningless to him. But I haven't seen a seasoned pro have such a diverse range of games. Siena????

My specialty was the ACC and Big 10. I very rarely strayed into other conferences. Think of the number of college teams and conferences--you can't know them all. But again, he may just be having fun and hasn't claimed to be an expert.

That's what it seems to me. More power to him, and a little luck wouldn't hurt either.

About my betting patterns/systems.... In College Hoops I use StatFox for my information.. Since my business consisted of numbers I look at certain numbers and patterns...

By no means I'm an expert but I do win more than I lose...

This week my downfall was hockey

Did your patterns include "technical analysis"?

  20. #60
LoneStar, I'm sure you're aware of the rules changes in college basketball. I'd tread lightly with certain totals, if you know what I mean. They're trying to "pretty up" the game.

Alan, there have been people running data mining programs 24/7 on all sports for the last decade. Nothing in modern statistical bases has been under-analyzed.
