Thread: No 24 hour restaurant at Bellagio

  1. #1
From my friend at Bellagio: their 24-hour restaurant Cafe Bellagio is no longer 24-hours. Last seating is now at 11:30pm and it reopens at 6-am.

I find that to be ridiculous for a giant hotel not to have a 24 hour restaurant or cafe or even a snack bar when it has a 24-hour casino.

Does this mean players have to take the bridge across Flamingo to eat at the 24-hour restaurant in the lobby at Caesars?

Add in the upcoming parking charge and why bother with Bellagio?

    You think that's bad?

After 11pm at the Rio, you cannot get food anywhere except at the fast food "sports deli".

American Bar and Grill (the closest thing they have to a cafe) is closed.

    Room service is closed.

Your only choice is to stand on a long line at this "deli" and buy fried food, or crappy sandwiches. Keep in mind that "deli" is a misnomer. It is nothing like the NY style deli you're probably used to when you hear that word to describe a restaurant.

While this MIGHT be understandable during most of the year, this also remains true during WSOP, where most tournaments end well after midnight.

So you finish a tournament, want to get some food, and that's your only choice.

If the coffee shops are closed, where are you supposed to negotiate hooker prices at 2 AM? What, they want you to stand in an aisle and have a discussion? Bellagio needs to rethink this.

You'd think they'd have something open 24/7 the degenerate poker players.

P.S. I enjoy the turkey dinner there at the cafe.

By the way -- in case anyone wondered there is no gaming regulation in Nevada that would require a resort like Bellagio or Caesars to have 24 hour food service.

I should look into opening an all night pizza delivery service.

Do the hotel/casinos allow outside delivery??

Maybe combine late night treats into a single to-your-room-service.

    Domin-hoes.

I've seen late night pizza service. But sometimes the guest has to go to the lobby to meet the delivery because the deliveryman doesn't have a room key to get past security -- when there is a guard at the elevators.

I was also wondering if you could call in-room dining to have a delivery made to the casino floor? At Caesars this is possible for anyone -- just ask a floor person.

I wonder if this is possible at other casinos or just limited to high rollers?

But delivery to your table or machine defeats the purpose of a 24-hour cafe -- sometimes you want to get away and take a break.
