That would be ridiculous -- to turn in cash for free play even if there were a 10% bonus.

At least if they were giving you cash + a 10% bonus in free play there would be some utility in this.

But as soon as they convert your cash into free play that must be run through the machine you are trapped. Even if you played a 99+% return machine you could be a victim.

    Bad deal.

It's similar to the false rationale that some players have when they use a debit card with Caesars properties at the cage. Seven Stars get the fee returned to them as free play. They use that rebate in free play to rationalize their use of the debit card. However, it would make more sense if they went to a bank for the cash -- or used a fee-free MARKER -- than to be charged a fee that is reimbursed as free play.

Suncoast has a long history of 86'ing knowledgeable video poker players. They have at least one trap there that I know of. $5 9/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe. Play that game during a promotion and you are a goner.

Total BS mickey. All you're doing is repeating the lies Dancer spews on vpfree to save the fading reputation of a childless old man who abuses women and human ethics while hoping everyone forgives him and still want to buy his vp crap.

I know someone in middle mgmt. at Suncoast and asked about these "86ing" claims by none other than various "big deal AP's" on vpfree about four months ago. The response was, verbatim: "No video poker players at Suncoast EVER are banned from playing unless they break the rules, are rude to our employees, or our cameras can prove they're lying to us when we question why they're doing something questionable at the machines.....and I dare you to produce one piece of written or electronic evidence that rufutes this." (which, of course, no AP has ever done) Further, "Only inexperienced managers would even think about removing any of these well-heeled and/or regular players from their customer base".

Seems mickey's still residing in his dream world, one that frequently combines Bob Dancer and a certain amount of wetness.

Who's your friend in middle management at Suncoast?

How funny is this? A dump like Ellis Island reeling in self-proclaimed "advantage players" for up to $40 in free-play IF they are stupid enough and stupid-looking enough to haul $400 worth of coins into that hole!

"Free money"? Yeah right. It's not money until it's played & cashed out, and no AP just walks in and plays anything thru once. They don't have the discipline required to do that.

I like how redietz is trying to justify going to EI twice since Dec. Their coffee shop has a steak special? The place is "renovated"? They take coins and hand out peanuts for free play? You travel across the country for that?

I can see a penny-pinching phony like jbjb being broke enuf to go to a bank and trade for coins. And RS__ would do it at the drop of a hat. After all, "vulturing" makes the man. But only desperados would waste their time on such frivolous nonsense.

I'm beginning to see redietz more clearly. He pretends to be some mysterious gamer who "only" plays quarter vp "occasionally" when it doesn't interfere with his big-time stuff. jbjb has been claiming to play his beloved nickels under the same circumstances. All this says to me is the one reason red makes his few yearly trips to LV if absolutely FOR playing quarter vp, which is his only reason for taking the trip. He's no different than the collection of minions on vpfree who save up many months for their sweaty-palm trips, only to stay in one of the low-life hotels when they finally arrive.

    Good luck guys.
That's it exactly, Rob. I travel cross-country to play quarter video poker several times a year because I must. I'm compelled. I'm already up to 12 hours of vp play this year, so my degeneracy is obvious. Any comments on my "big-time" stuff? I'm sure you have an opinion. And it just so happens many people are giving me opinions.

I don't understand why Suncoast would ban players instead of simply removing the game?

He doesn't know anyone. Same BS he spouted about asking pit supervisors about the 86ing of blackjack players. Even if he did ask, these management people will not tell you the truth.

Or just cut them off from promos or comps.

Redietz let's get back to your "coin play." I doubt you travel with $200 in coins. Do you find that going to a bank for $200 in coin is worth the $20 of free play? And is RS__ correct that all $220 is given to you as free play tickets?

Why would anyone even read it? You'll lose IQ points doing so.

No, let's get back to Rob's opinion on my "big-time stuff." Rob says, after all, that he's the only true professional on this forum, so his opinion really carries some weight. And people are giving me opinions at the moment.

His opinion will put you on welfare.

All of singer's "sources" are purely fictional. It is well known that several AP's were 86'd from Suncoast.

  15. #55
Singer, I think, has been drinking water from Flint.

Alan -- 9/6 BPD is a casino money-maker. You don't hear of card-counters getting 86'd from casinos then think to yourself, "Why don't they just get rid of blackjack?!" It's obviously there for a reason. The easiest way to make sure someone can't (or most likely won't) play a game which you don't want them to play -- is to 86 the person.

I don't travel with $200 in coins, no. Is going to the bank and getting rolls of quarters worth it? Idk, not to me. I don't play EI regularly nor do I live closeby EI, so for me -- no. But if you live near EI and/or play there regularly, then absolutely -- it's an extra $40. And there's no extra risk (assuming you plan on playing regardless). So...why wouldn't you (general, not specific) do it?

Because it's a legitimate advantage play, albeit a small one. These guys would rather "gamble" and believe in other utter nonsense like DI.

Ah, well why of course! If I practice throwing these dice every day for many hours, I'm no longer a degenerate craps junky, I'm a "skillful player"! It just makes sense, practice enough, and you'll be able to influence the dice. And if I can influence the dice to hit the numbers I want (more likely to hit my numbers....stupid mathletes think I can hit a number on command with 100% accuracy they're so stupid!!!)....then I'll end up a winner! It all makes sense, a golfer can do it, a baseball pitcher can do it, a QB can do it.....I'm pretty sure a robot could throw the dice with absolute precision [I know all about physics/math/engineering/statistics...it's all common sense you learned in high school].

But what----you're saying you can give the casino money....and they'll give you MORE MONEY IN RETURN? Well no, that's got to be a bad idea. You gotta like, play though, and, ya know, you could end up losing! You sure got an awful system there if you can end up losing!

Of course I lose sometimes when I play dice, I'm not a perfect shooter (LOL MATHLETES R STUPID), some days I shoot better than normal, sometimes I shoot worse than normal. Ya know, you still gotta be lucky in order to win, and that's all that matters -- luck!

To get $40 of free play I need to go to a bank for $400 of coin. Do I have to drive to the bank and how close is it? Am I a customer of that bank and is boxed coin for $400 available? Is there a fee? Do I have to tip the valet? Am I getting $400 cash plus $40 in free play or is it all free play?

Too many questions. And this question: is it worth the trouble?

I wouldn't even drive up to a casino for $40 of free play and I'm certainly not going to jump thru those hoops to get it.

Of course it is, and anyone who felt the need to even make such a silly comment is only proving how little they know about gambling overall. That should do it.
