The video roulette free play is not treated the same as table roulette free play.
On the machines, your original bet is returned to you...even if it was freeplay.
So 50 bet on red & 50 bet on black, will return 100 if either black or red come out.
You get your 50 bet back, plus the 50 win.
Great. Can't wait to see the video. It's a good play.
Like I said. I figured it out by looking at it as if it were a VBJ machine. You have $100 fp. Make the $100 bet on VBJ and get a tie. The free play credits will be returned as cash credits and can be cashed out. Essentially you'll win $100 on a push. Just like they showed on VP getting just a pair of jacks. With a money bet, you'll just push. But with fp, you actually win.
I understand you are saying roulette and video black jack are different. But in video poker you don't get your free play for another play and you don't get it converted to cash. The free play in video poker is used once and it's gone.
As I said my experience has only been using free play on video poker -- not video roulette. So this is new to me. Can't wait to see the video.
The difference is the machines for VBJ, roulette, etc., treat it as a table game would and give your bet back. VP doesn't do that because it's considered a slot machine.
Hold on a second. Yes, free play is converted to cash for the play in video poker, but you don't get to cash it out.
Example A
You have $5 of free play and bet 5 credits. You get a pair of jacks that pays $5. You cash out the $5. There is no more free play for you to use. The $5 of free play was converted to $5 of "coin in" and your $5 of coin in hit a break-even bet.
Example B
You have $5 of free play and bet 5 credits. You get three of a kind that pays $15. You cash out the $15. There is no more free play for you to use. The $5 of free play was converted to $5 of "coin in" and your $5 of coin in hit a three of a kind.
Example C
You have $10 of free play and bet 5 credits. You get a pair of Jacks paying $5. You cash out the $5. There is still $5 of free play remaining for you to bet as free play -- but it is not money you can cash out in video poker.
