Thread: Big Game Buzz around Vegas

  1. #1
As you know they aren't allowed to say Super Bowl out here but in all my years coming here on this weekend there is a definite buzz in the air... PH & Paris's Books are busier than a normal Thursday... They've built a Budweiser Sports Bar that looks perfect for my kids to hang around....

Prop bets galore, also looks like a few out of town "special friends" arrived a day early.

Will keep updating you on any good plays

I'm curious about the casino table limits and whether or not the slots and video poker games are filled? Over New Year's Weekend I was amazed that the casino was crowded at Caesars and people were playing. It was hard to find a position at a craps table and a seat at the machines.

Table limits at Paris black jack & 3-card were currently set at $15 min
Video Poker machines busy but in High Limit Room empty

Sad to report that I missed the opening of that beer garden at Paris. They actually closed off a section of the strip that morning and had the Budweiser Clydesdales tromp into Paris.

I have to verify if they still do this, but some of the sports books used to keep futures up while games were in progress during the first round of the tournament. If they do, I may have to make an appearance that first week.

My wife videotaped it. If she saved it I'll send it to you.
