Question for the broad audience: I have friends who are rotating IP addresses month to month. Others have multiple IP addresses from the same physical location. I know nothing about IP addresses, but given that, is there any real way to trace IP addresses to individuals? From what I've been told, the idea that because people have different IP addresses, they must be different sources or different people, is highly overrated.

IP addresses are easily changed. You can see if different posters use the same address.

Thanks spojoey but the traffic this site really gets comes from the 430+ pages and 900+ videos on the main www.alanbestbuys.com site. That's also where I make my money. This forum is for sale and it is surviving only because another forum member said he was going to pay the quarterly hosting fee.
