And I'm not talking weight.
Penn and Teller have a line in their show where they joke about people bragging about being "whales," and then they say something like, and I'm paraphrasing, "And there's another name for whales -- it's called 'Losers.'"
CET is not known as the bastion of good odds for gaming, but it seems to be a popular casino of choice on this forum.
So, in light of LoneStar vs. Coach Belly on another thread, may I present another name for a "Whales" contest -- "The Biggest Loser."
Let's have some folks step out and announce how much they've lost in 2015. Tax returns are useful, if you are a professional (like Rob), but we'll actually take your word for it until we get to the final. Then a polygraph test will be used to determine if you are being truthful about how much you lost. We'll consider all kinds of evidence. Bankruptcies are helpful. If you've had to recently sell an RV at a horrible loss, that will count, too.
Because, let's face it, proving you gambled a lot at CET is almost (but not quite) evidence you lost.
Anyone willing to go first? Unfortunately, I don't qualify, but I would if we counted just video poker, so maybe next year for me.
Let's go. Don't be shy.
Biggest Loser gets a very special trophy, plus a bottle of Johnny Walker. I'm from Tennessee, so I appreciate the stuff.
