Thread: Las Vegas wager for Alan

  1. #1
Just the other day you said you're a professional gambler here's my wager for.. Since you adore Caesars I think it sucks
Let's meet at the craps table we each buy in for $5,000 .. Winner is the one who has biggest bankroll left at agreed end of our session..

    Loser pays winner $2,500

I don't think I've ever read where Alan claimed to be a professional craps player. Why craps? Maybe you should just make this a meet and greet among "friends"

  3. #3
"Professional craps players" are the ones scamming people into DI classes.

A meet-and-greet sounds good. If we do that, Rob should get an invite.

Rob will never meet up with me....

Here is Alan's exact unedited quote:

I am a professional gambler but my game is TV advertising. I try to make advantage plays when I can.

But what does a bet involving craps have to do Alan's primary business? I always thought Alan's game of choice was Video Poker. I thought I read somewhere on here that he accumulates up to 1 million tier points per year.

Lonestar I guess you missed the point of my post. My business is a gamble and since I make money at it that makes me a professional.

Anyone who knows me knows I do not make money bets with people. I bet for lunch or dinner. I won a dinner from Rob and I owe the Wizard lunch. I tried to hook up with the Wizard over New Year's but we didn't want to drive because of traffic. I will buy him lunch another time.

I'd be happy to meet up and play craps with you but I'd be betting against the house and not you. I never claimed to be a net winner at craps despite a few good rolls and my interest in dice influencing.

Just curious: why the need for a challenge? Why not just a meet-up?

    blowhard
A blowhard is someone who always brags or boasts about himself. If you get stuck sitting next to your blowhard cousin at the family holiday dinner, you may wish he didn't think he was quite so amazing.
Blowhard is an informal word describing someone who can't stop talking about themselves or their accomplishments, real or imagined. You might know a blowhard at school, at work, or even in your family. And usually everyone knows at least one blowhard sports fan, who during the game can't stop talking about the unprecedented greatness of his favorite team or player...........if the shoe fits

Sure I will...and I would have if you hadn't chickened out at the last minute by switching locations. We stopped at HRH to get some sleep before leaving 4-4:30, which is why I chose 4am at the casino entrance in the parking garage. If you balked we probably could have met inside. I never got why you suggested other hotels.

You can really butter your bread here by doing an in-person meet to hand the coach that bottle of Blue. We're all professionals here.

    Who chickened out?

I'm sorry, I am missing why I am mentioned here?

Sorry eddie but your funny agenda continues to make you appear as dumb as a bag of rocks. How about posting LSH's post and time when he decided to change locations, then look at when I posted my response about it not being a good idea to meet right now anyway.

    Duh.

And LSH, are you handing over that bottle of Blue to coach in AC or not?

Question to the forum: Who sounds like the chicken?

It might be time to conduct a poll on that. How do you set up a poll?

Very simple Alan your indulgent comments are just noise.. Why don't you post your last years tier score for all to see.. You like to pretend to be the Wizard of Oz when in fact you're Dorothy
