Just curious, what is the maximum Resort Fee of any casino/hotel in Vegas?
I have seen listings on Hotels.com where some of the downtown properties have resort fees that are more than the listed price of the room.

This thread is one of the reasons why the forum is becoming a mini-clone of vpfree. We have all these 7-Stars special cardholders sprinkled with a few cheapskates and several who really can't even afford to buy fried chicken, moaning & groaning over $30 or whatever resort fees, overpriced $6.99 buffets, and a theoretical .3% on a vp pay table.

If you're a 7-stars player, what on earth possesses you to be concerned over a measly fifty bucks--let alone 5 or 10? Are you people so very afraid of not having that extra cash to lose?

What's this thread about--one crummy night at South Point? Even spock's not complaining here....likely because of the sweaty palms he got when posting the SP free night link....and it doesn't take a genius to figure out how financially challenged he is. I swear, if it weren't for the sheer volume of members on vpfree, this forum would dwarf them in crybabies.

    Wise up.

Rob, when I checked out of my room at Caesars I noticed that I was charged for two movies -- one each day. They were supposed to be free. $17.99 per movie. I called the front desk and had it removed. I am not going to shrug off a fee that I should not have paid.

All though I'm far from a fan of Mr Singer, what he states here is spot on. These big players who boast about the card they hold are the cheapest people here. I now doubt they ever held a seven stars card or if they did they had help earning said status.

To Hard Eight and Rob Singer: if a "measly $50" doesn't mean that much to you, please send it to me.

Alan, I'm sure you understand this and are just giving lip service to all the others. Fifty bucks should be peanuts to people who throw away thousands trying to be one of those "special 7-Stars cardholders". But the reason it isn't is because they're stretching themselves to the absolute limit in their silly effort. Just look no further than what Dan says he does. He constantly pushes this "I'm overcomped!" talk on the masses, but anyone can determine he needs to feel that way to justify his losses to himself. He actually confirms that all the time by having this incessant need to keep explaining how he goes to great lengths to keep worldly injustices from snatching a dollar or two from his wallet. And this South Point resort fee thing.....truly humiliating.

On the other side of the coin, anyone over 40 who claims to be a success of one type or another, would never have a problem spending $50 for anything ancillary on a trip to basically anywhere. Those who do, well, you wouldn't want to marry one of them.

I'd be very happy to pay the resort fee if South Point were giving me a free room and I had no other options for a free room in Vegas. I just want to say that.

But no one wants to waste money, and no one wants to spend money they don't have to -- except for maybe Rob Singer.

Just because some one gambles doesn't mean they should also allow businesses to nickel and dime them, or overcharge them or rip them off.

" nickel and dime them or overcharge them or rip them off "

Quite an amazing quote from a seven star player and business owner. This is America last time I checked, every business can charge whatever prices they post. We as the consumer, gambler have many options to either pay the fees or go elsewhere.
It appears said poster is just looking for a hand out just because.
It also appears said poster just tags his asinine comments to promote his web site and his poorly written articles. His sour grapes and I'm entitled attitude just reeks of why he ran away as this forums owner.
I'm shocked that any woman would spend more than 1 hour with such an egomaniac.

Who ever verifies where we broadcast from will verify I'm not this LoneStar person you people talk about. I live in Florida and only leave the state three times a year.

    Probation, or parole?

I assume your comment means you're one of Alan's associates. Please get a more creative thought process.

It means LoanScarred/Heismybitch the only reason anyone would stay in Florida is because they were forced to by Court Order.

HardEight is posting from some weird-looking IPs (including AT&T cell phones) to where it is tough to pinpoint their actual location.

HardEight, like others, I am suspicious that you seem to have some animosity toward Alan, despite seemingly showing up out of nowhere earlier this month.

If you are LonestarHorse, you are not allowed on this site.

I have to admit that your posting style is suspiciously like his, in several ways.

Please PM me (or post out here) how you found this site, which other gambling forums you post on (and what your screen name is there), and the type of ISP you are using to connect here (aside from your cell phone).

If you do not convince me that you are real, I am going to have to ban your account.

Rob, why are you starting this nonsense with me again?

I am not "justifying losses". I won $7600 playing VP in 2015. Would you like me to post my win-loss statement as proof?

The "overcomped" thing is not something I'm bragging about. It's a fact, and it's important because it causes hosts not to want to help me (where basically I have to either help myself or get help from people not directly connected to the casino).

I am a Seven Stars member for value. I don't do it as any kind of status to brag about.

The South Point resort fee is not "humiliating". If I'm going to go a little out of my way to take a "free" night where I otherwise wouldn't choose to stay, I want it to actually be free. If there's a $30 resort fee involved, I would rather pay $80 to stay where it's more convenient. If it's free, I'll take the free room.

I am both over 40 and financially successful. Part of the reason for that financial success is due to my responsible behavior when it comes to money, in areas both big and small.

I realize that a lot of your forum gimmick is to play the rich guy who doesn't care about money, but don't chide others for living in reality.

I found this site because I also post on RX Forum, I will privately tell you the name I post as. My residence is in Florida and I do travel throughout the state daily.
My animosity towards Alan is easy to explain he is a self promoting pig. Even Ray Charles could see this by reading his constant back patting ways.
Hopefully my replies quell the suspicion.

Alan banned you because you were an asshole. Now you are back under a new name being an asshole. I think we've found the common denominator.

Not only being an asshole, he's a whole ass.
