We've booked a trip in April. I've got a few nights in Vegas and then we are going to road trip south.
I'd like to do a steak house this time. I'm not looking to spend $100 a person though and would like to stay on the strip. Any suggestions?

You will find the best steak houses on the Strip with entres priced well under $100 and plenty of great steaks in the range of $70. But add on a drink, dessert, a side, tax and tip and you're well over $100 per person.
This place is downtown (Golden Nugget), but it's good, and the prices are reasonable by steak house standards: http://www.vicandanthonys.com/pdf/me...gas/dinner.pdf

Charlie Palmer Steak & the "Cut of the Week" is probably the best deal in Vegas. It comes with wine pairings. Just check the week before you're going to see what the special is.

In my opinion, your best experience for a steakhouse on the Strip is the one inside Circus Circus. It has it all--quality, ambience, class and comfort. It's a completely different world inside compared to their low-life infested casino and circus areas. Pricewise, go by with what Alan said--no different here. And they don't take no coupons nohow.
Last time I was there they had a 3 course dinner package for less than $50 per person
I had a salad, a filet mignon, and a chocolate moose desert .
