Thread: Any 99%+ VP games left at CET properties in Vegas?

  1. #1
Note that I am asking this with three requirements:

    1) Tier credits at $10/tier

    2) No more than $5/credit

    3) Games are at a CET property in Vegas

I can't find any at the moment.

I believe all of the multiplay 7-5 BP Ultimate X games are gone now.

None in LV that I know about which meet those requirements.

I think the big question is this: if none is available, what are you going to do? What is your advice and strategy now?

I have been informed of about 9 Double Bonus 9-7-5 machines (99.11%) at the $1 level, at Rio.

Unfortunately, you would take about 8-10 hours to earn 2500 tiers on these, so that kinda sucks.

Alan, when it comes time to re-earn Seven Stars, I will probably make some treks out to Tahoe.

Not Rincon, Dan, where you could day trip and get back to back max bonuses playing between say 4am and 8am ?

Maybe, but I don't love the aces and faces game at $5. Too much variance and 99.26% pay table is a lot worse than what's offered in Tahoe.

Too much variance in Aces and Faces? Really?

Just how much more variance is there in Aces and Faces vs Jacks or Better considering you don't have to make it a weekend trip to Tahoe and you can come and go as you please just driving to Rincon playing from 4am to 6am for one casino day, then play from 6am to 8am for your second casino day, getting 30,000 tier points for four hours?

Isn't making the schlepp to Tahoe with its associated costs for a weekend of 9/6 Jacks instead of making a four hour trip to Rincon to play 8/5 Aces and Faces being penny wise and pound foolish?

Making which trip is the true advantage play?

I haven't been to Tahoe since last November and was planning on a drive up the hill next week. Where are you finding the better pay tables? Harrahs or Harveys?

We just got back from Tahoe last week. All the bars at Harvey's have 8/5 BP quarter and up. You can play quarter, fifty cent, or $1 level. If you get bored you can switch these machines to 9/5 DDB which isn't too bad. They also have other games on them including a variation of DW which I don't recall the pay table as I maunly switched back and forth between BP and DDB. Additionally they have these same type of machines in the primary VP section at Harrah's.

If you want to crank out the tc's faster, both of the HLR's at Harrah's and Harvey's have a variety of options including triple/five play $1's with your choice of 9/6 JOB, 8/5 BP, or 9/6 DDB. There are other options as well and at this time anyway you still only have to run $10 per tier credit. I am almost positive that this is the best VP opportunity left at any of the CET properties.

Second best opportunity overall would have to be my home CET property Horseshoe Bossier City, La. You have to go to $5 VP to get these same type of pay tables but they do have one machine that has 8/5 BP with a $5000 royal payout at the $1 level. I have never had any luck on this machine but the $5000 royal payout would put it at around 100%EV. It can be hard to get on at times.

Thanks for the reply. 8/5 BP is my speed. We're going up for some snowboarding and snow play. I'm just looking to give Harrah's some love to keep those free hotel rooms coming. Thanks again.

Good luck to you james40. You will have no problem finding a 8/5 BP machine at either property.

Thanks for the Tahoe information. That's an eye opener vis-a-vis Las Vegas.

Planet Hollywood has three $1 3/5/10 play 9/5 JoB with double super times pay (98.95%) in the high limit room. Not 99%+ but close.

    Also Harrah's Laughlin has $1/2/5 8/5 Bonus.

    Thanks.

I might run the 5-play Double Super Times Pay there because it's fun and it's close to 99%.

Funny you mention Laughlin's $1/$2/$5 7-5 BP. I thought that was gone. I was just there tonight, and I ran my $65 freeplay at 8-5 bonus. Of course, I hit a full house and lost $5 out of it as compared to the 8-5 paytable.

I was in Laughlin this weekend and they still have 8/5 BP at $1

8/5 BP for $1, 1 line, at Rio Las Vegas according to VPFree2. (I have not confirmed).

  17. #17
I can confirm that the Rio still has $1 8/5 Bonus with $10 for 1 TC.

    How many?

  19. #19
The vpfree2 database seems accurate. I didn't count them but we played on two machines at each of the two locations listed.

The problem with the $1/credit 99.17% BP machines are that they take forever just to earn 2500 tiers, because they are 1-play.

If you play 500 hands per hour, it will still take 10 hours to earn 2500 tiers. Yuck.

I think I'll stick with the Double Super Times Pay 9-5 JoB where you can at least do 3/5/10 play.
