Thread: Elvis sues the Westgate

Elvis is still alive & kicking, he's not singing Viva Las Vegas. In fact he's singing the Blues.
Well not exactly Elvis his estate is suing the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

Here is an excerpt from a story written by Mark Savage from BBC News

Westgate Resort and Casino is holding the items "hostage" as part of a dispute with the operators of an Elvis exhibition.
The Graceland Presents Elvis attraction closed abruptly earlier this month.
Billed as the largest exhibition of Elvis memorabilia outside his Graceland home and museum, the attraction opened last April to great fanfare.

I did not visit the actual Elvis memorabilia tour collection, but I did stop in the pop culture store right across the hall, which had a lot of Elvis stuff (along with Wolverine and Deadpool and Star Wars). Does anyone know if the pop culture store stayed open?

I thought the pricing of the Elvis exhibit was steep. A price tag under $20 might have helped. It is, after all, memorabilia, not a live show.
