I made an unexpected stop at Harrah's Laughlin last night. I had offers for $65 freeplay (no hotel room required) and $30 food (again, no stay required) so I figured I'd stop in. Not worth making a trip there for that, but I was passing within 18 miles of the place, so I stopped by.
As per usual, I went to Total Rewards to get my offers "reprinted", as I didn't have my mailer with me.
There was an obnoxious sign in there stating that they will "no longer reprint offers", and to remember to bring your mailers. But then the sign also mentioned that for "a limited time, we will reprint it for you as a one-time courtesy".
Huh?
This was in the Diamond/Seven Stars room of Total Rewards. I don't know if the sign existed in the Gold/Platinum area.
The lady who reprinted my vouchers was nice, and did not mention anything regarding the sign. I also doubt they were doing "one time courtesies", as it didn't seem she noted my account or anything that she used my "one time".
This is really lame, though. People come all the way out to Laughlin (which is close to NOTHING, unless you live in Bullhead City or Needles), forget their mailer, and they can't have their offers? That's some way to show customer loyalty.
Ran pretty well with my $65 freeplay at $1 7/5 Bonus, turning it into $90.
