    You are a provocateur.

Why is Rob always ragging about how fit he is? Alan should have dressed him up a bit.

Rob: "They said I lost a couple hundred on that play, but I'm sitting here counting my 94 thousand in profit".

So Rob was stuck 6k at that point?

"An agent provocateur (French for "inciting agent") is a person who commits, or who acts to entice another person to commit an illegal or rash act or falsely implicate them in partaking in an illegal act."

This has to be one of the strangest forums ever, in its own way. Alan got mad last year, threatened to wipe the whole forum, but banned a bunch of posters instead. A couple of weeks ago, he sold the forum; and almost immediately, blew a fuse, and stormed out. A lot of dice and video poker "table setting" here. And casino threads. How many years? Not that I mind. It's a good backdrop for the hard stuff. (In my case, the quantities of physics derived from a sort of suitably defined mass. Mass, motion, acceleration, force, power, momentum, to energy; energy, the photon, table of elements, the gluon, material expansion or chemical/nuclear reactions, to simple spatial expansion, and "back to" another level of mass. To allow for a more intuitive and soluble physical model of the universe. One good QED of this approach should lay in the structure of the periodic table, itself. I'm working on it. So are others. Eg, how many elements in the G-block, and how many more elements beyond? How to tie Janet's left-handed table up with the valence one used in most classrooms? https://www.sciencenews.org/blog/con...cement-dispute (What isn't fun is when you have to retype a post after having X-ed out the wrong page. Lol.))

I just thought there might be a good explanation or clue in a quick google of Alan. Up pops a Singer video. Likely a lot of those then.

Singer looks a greasy sort of guy, especially with that tattoo.

    Ah, the answers-so simple!
(1). "In the beginning, God created the heavens and earth...."
(2). "Love thy neighbor as thyself....."

And that shall remain the bottom line until something physically fundamental is finally proved out. There being no matter hints at there being no mind either. Just a bunch of shifting thoughts without real substance or basis (except for those of a God). Thereby, the "human condition" remains essentially unchanged: The mental helps us shape the physical while the physical helps us define the mental. A seemingly endless venture.

“Concerning matter, we have been all wrong.
What we have called matter is energy,
whose vibration has been so lowered
as to be perceptible to the senses.
    There is no matter.”

    - Quote attributed to Albert Einstein
