$1 craps, really?
I once tried to play blackjack there and count cards, and some 85-year-old female dealer shuffled up on me.
I also had a terrible meal in their cafe.
Won't go back. Only thing interesting about the place is that it's at the top of a big hill just as you go down toward Boulder City.

Thanks Dan.
I used to stop at the Gold Strike in Jean when they had their $3 craps table to "warm up" before getting into Vegas. This place is out of the way, but if I'm in the area I might check it out.
Gold Strike had two or three players at the most. I've heard of Vegas area casinos with $1 tables but they are usually filled to capacity with "pensioners" spending their time. You can play a long time with only $1 on the pass line.
For a short time, the Railroad Pass had full pay $5 deuces!
Two machines near the entrance.
Is the Dealer's Angel game still at the Gold Strike in Jean? I believe that was the name of it, but the animated woman blackjack, but an older version without the continuous shuffler? TBC's old haunt.
It's no longer at Jean
Deadwood Mountain Grand might be the only place left in the country with Dealer's Angel.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ
