Are there any other casinos in the USA besides the MGM properties in Vegas that have only paid parking? Here in LA some card clubs have paid valet parking but all self parking is free.

Do you mean always paid regardless of play or card level?
Because I can think of a few places that charge either all the time or some of the time but you can get a coupon or validation for playing. They're all ones that are located in downtown areas of major cities....the one that used to be TR in Cleveland, Rivers Pittsburgh, Greektown in Detroit.
Pretty sure I had to pay for parking at Horseshoe Cleveland and Cincinatti. Diamond/7* could probably do it for free, but I played unrated at those properties.
Thanks for responses. Are these casinos in urban areas where all parking is pay parking? Even LA has free parking in all areas but the central business districts where there are high rise office buildings. Are these other casinos where there are high rise office buildings?
The Cleveland casino is right in the middle of downtown surrounded by high rise buildings and within walking distance to at least the baseball and basketball facilities. Not sure about the football one. Their lot always charges but you can get validation.
The area that Greektown is in is similar - not sure about the distance from the sporting facilities but it's in the middle of a neighborhood with businesses and restaurants. Their lot also always charges but you can get validation, at least that was the case when I was there several years ago.
Pittsburgh's casino is right next to the football stadium, the baseball field is further past that, and in between those two there are a number of low rise office buildings with restaurants on the ground floors. I have never paid to park there but I know they charge when there are Steeler games or other major events. I would think if you worked in that area you could park there and walk to work even downtown but it might be a hike.
I've never been to Cincinnati's casino but I'm familiar with the city and that casino is located out near the highway several long blocks from the downtown area and probably at least a mile or two from the sporting facilities that are down by the river. It didn't appear to be close to anything else and it seemed like you would have to drive to get there.
Another one that may charge sometimes is Horseshoe Baltimore. I was only there once and it was free but it was mid-week mid-day. But they looked to have the setup to charge sometimes just like the Pittsburgh casino does. They're right next to where the Ravens play and probably a mile or so from the Inner Harbor, on the way to which from there you pass Camden Yards.

I can understand casinos in urban areas that might have parking fees to keep office workers from nearby high-rises using their free parking and then walking to to work.
In fact, this was part of the motivation for what MGM did -- but in the case of MGM they didn't want people parking in nearby casinos and then going to the new Arena to see a show and avoid its paid parking garages.
Unfortunately to protect the Arena's parking garages they "turned off" a lot of people who would have gone to their casinos.

The city is full of pay-to-park lots, at one time they were all full almost all the time.
Not any more...most are abandoned, except for the collection booths and rate signs.
AC Caesars was free valet for diamond or better.

Recently Hard Rock in Tampa, FL started charging $10 to park. But they have no craps so that doesn't affect me.
Caesars has given no sign they will have paid parking in Vegas.

Parking is free for locals (believe you need an NV license) as well as for Pearl(?) level players. I can't imagine the parking situation would result in a dramatic decline for the local players. Over time, definitely. Fewer tourists quit going to casino X, which means fewer fish for the locals, which leads to locals not playing there anymore. Immediately, I could definitely see the gambling in general as well as non-gambling traffic going down.
Valet parking is no longer free, and the regular poker players wanted to valet their cars... just as they can at any other casino. There are also time limits on the free self-parking even for Vegas locals. I think poker players tend to stay in the casino for several hours longer than the free time window allows.
I researched this when the announcement originally came out for my friend that lives in Vegas and prefers to park at the Bellagio when she visits the Strip to shop. The MLife credit card has no annual fee and comes with a Pearl level membership. Free self parking for locals is only through the end of 2016 at this point.
Only a forum loaded with continually humiliated & battered CET 7-Stars members would be anxiously discussing where the pay-for parking is at casino destinations.

One of the other things that happened as a result of this change was they (mgm) is now "outsourcing" all of the Valet's to a 3rd party company. I haven't used them at all to say if there is any change in the level of service people are getting.
And right, locals are grandfathered until the end of the year for free, so it will be interesting what happens after that.
