It's winding down again over there. How long can people stretch out and analyze a turd?

I understand a few people discussing something specific about casinos and gambling, but not about baloney. Require a whole society to have interesting baloney.

why are kewlj and the GF admin are making a mountain out of a mole hil?

no one posted anyones personal information. kewlj acdts like someone posted someone's home address and social security number. smh
what was posted was a picture that was taken with everyone's permssion but one person who gave permission tried to redact the permission later on......

sorry but it doesn't work that way guys.............

and what's up with Spike/EB gushing over Jabba the Whale again??
he wrote: "Kudo's to Babs for staying as far away as possible from this sideshow."

will this guy ever stop kissing Jabba's ass?????????

oh and it looks like no balls nate is once again proving that he has no balls lol.............

  3. #83
the dishonest admin at GF is at it again. he just created a thread asking "Should we create a new rule prohibiting posting via Proxies/VPN's?"

um excuse me but you ALREADY DID prohibit a member from using a vpn! don't act like you haven't answered that question!!!

and how come kewlj isn't bringing this point up??? he was acting hysterical when someone posted a pic of Jabba the Whale even though she gave her PERMISSION to post the pic but he is dead silent on this issue. smh

  4. #84
oh and i forgot to say that the dsihonest admin at GF tried to sneak in a LIE as well

he said: "when we detect suspicious behavior from a member, we notice that they are hiding their real IP by connecting via a Proxy or VPN"

sorry but i was NEVER accused of "suspisious" behavior ahole!! the ONLY person who accused me was no balls nate yet he even redacted his accusation.
other than no balls nate nobody EVER accused me of any rule breaking behavior!

  5. #85
You're complaining about a place that has a drunk MC as its star, One armed bandit who was lone star horse here and was run out of this and other forums cause everything he says is a lie (his sports bets are B.S.) and who is a proven bigot, and then you bring that shit here.

    No offense---but WTFC.

  6. #86
good lord are the admin and members of GF so stupid that they think an IP addrees can have only ONE person associated with it???

I don't know why these idoits are fixated on peoples IP addresses anyway....
in my complex everyone has the same connection so our IP would be the same

according to the idiot admin and membes at GF if you share an IP with somebody then you are the same person???
are they really that dumb over there???????????

    smh..................

no balls nate is like the skinny geek who talks tough but then runs annd hides behind his big brother when he's confronted lol

first he redacted his accusations then he lied by claiming that nothing was redacted

then he told another lie by sayiing that I had "suspicious behavior"
sorry no balls nate but YOU were the only one who claimed that. nobody else did

of course no balls nate will never name others who accused me of suspicious behavior BEACUES THERE ARE NONE

oh and here's another lie by NBN aka no balls nate who said: "you got nailed for hiding behind proxys and other shit."

what "other shit"? of course you won't go into details so you'll have to tell another lie to keep the false narative going....

you are too eazy to smack around no balls nate lol............

I'm the one on GF they're insulting with the Anti-Semitic talk and that's why I left. The worst offender is ZenGrifter or something like that, who has been convicted in FEDERAL COURT for a huge white collar crime. He has his own forum and the anti-Semites on that forum blast the Jews and Israelis. One of those trolls/muppets is the main offender on GF. He has even infiltrated the "trusted posters' club to spew his hatred.

why is everyone making a big deal about what kewlj wrote to Mike shackleford aka Steve Urkel??
are Axelturd and Boz really that dense???????????/

it's clear that Qfit/nate was going to take action against Urkel and all kewlj was doing was letting Urkle know that he was going to take action too!!
why is this soo hard for Axelturd and Boz to comprehend?????? I really don't get it

also what the hell is with Mr.V talking about Steve Urkel's fit physique? man that sounded really creepy.....

hey Mr.V Richard Simmons is also very fit and takes fitness seriously.........are you gonig to claim that he's very manly too and not a geek??????? smh....

the GF aadmin is a total joke. hes worried about the "integrity" of his board yet he has no problem with racist, sexist, and and anti gay posts on his board....

he's also so stupid that he thinks banning vpn will reduce multipe accounts
but the unintended consequence of that is that he will also be banning legit users in the process!

for example I know that kewlj mentioned he has a gambling partner. well his gambling partner will automaticaly be banned form GF because he and kewlj have the same IP........
    how stupid is that???

Big Bad Boz is such a joke. after claiming that he's not goin gback to WoV what does he do??????????
    he goes back to Wov..................smh

I thought Big Bad Boz was good to his word but he turned out to be another gutless blowhard like Spike/EB..........

also I'm still positive that nate = norm = Qfit
my original thouhgts are here and I still stick to it http://vegascasinotalk.com/forum/sho...ll=1#post42106

I also think that that member MightyMike is actualy the GF admin Michael Emilio
wouldn't that be something? Emilio says he hates multiple IDs but he uses a multiple ID himself???????????? smh again

Junket King is johno aka 100 other usernames from the Gambler's Glen. The IP King. He's also been in depth on every gambling forum going and gone.

Someone should direct him over here. That would be a riot.

I am somewhat shocked at the lack of expertise in these online forums. This, at least, presents itself as a tourist place and CET trivia bastion.

The posters on these other forums have as much chance of winning at gambling as I do of bedding Nastassia Kinski and her snake.

No wonder offshore casinos fall over themselves to advertise and create affiliate relationships. Even the folks with skill sets seem naive and adolescent.

Johno is borderline psychotic. Takes a while to "shine through".

I'm thinking that there are no gambling experts. And, that it's best to think this way, anyway, because there are very few big-winning players. I mean, gambling seems to be about quickly losing/winning copious amounts of cash. The casinos are the ones making virtually all the money while pandering to the already addicted. With respect to gambling, there isn't much of a future in small disappearing edges.

The addicted go on with how much they know about gambling, etc. Some of the addicted who have the ability to do better things with their lives write gambling books and sell what remains of the worse-addicted people to their casino affiliations. Later, after the books and other stuff "goes to pot", they discover their own wasted lives, with nowhere go. Eg, Shackleford running around trying to reinvent himself with longer-shot ventures, eg, cheap legal grow-op licenses. (He couldn't afford one, and lamented about it a while back on his forum.)

I don't profess to be anyone particular in the gambling world. In my opinion, it's just easier to work from the loser religious side, eg, in physics, to the better new ideas. The "winning side" is so politically ferocious, cluttered and staked-out. Parrondo studied the negative games, and came up with some more general rules about games, and a few special games in which otherwise negative games combine to positive games. Incidentally, his are proofs from a different direction that general and specific gambling systems don't work. You can't get anything out of rearranging, nesting and making paradoxes of selections and amounts of bets over independent outcomes. Trying to do this is the first sign of a gambling addiction or tendency to addiction. Ideas which I attempt to copy in the "Bet what" series here.

I'm immune to almost all of that, as I'm involved in a game of opinion. If you know more than the bulk of the bell curve in anything, you can win a game of opinion.

The problem with people who can win a game of opinion is that they get dragged into the whirlpool of games without opinion. Or they, even more insidiously, get dragged into different games of opinion where they have no expertise.

Einstein would agree? On the universe being the same from all perspectives or positions of view.

I think that the universe lets neither form of "gambling expert" off the hook. And that the fundamentally different perspectives even out. Allow for a possible correction to your "good variances".

Perhaps Sklansky was also metaphysically right, in that every unfavorable outcome was wrongly played in some way. And, perhaps, trying to otherwise explain a particular style of gambling means something else.

  17. #97
My "good variances" are of such a degree that if they are variances, I'll die having lived a miracle, although still not an 18 yo miracle.

Seriously, you're wrong about the forms of gambling being the same. There's nothing about them, other than the rubric "gambling," that suggests they should be lumped together. One is purely statistical; the other is opinion. You can't suggest a brain surgeon and a bricklayer are equally adept at frontal cortex surgery and that the odds will eventually catch up with the surgeon.

Compared to IBM having legally allowed a young Bill Gates the rights to sell the same software to also other PC manufacturers? $$$

There's a lot of variance out there. Someone shall win a contest, many will win many contests, and a few will win in clusters. Line everyone in the world up for a sudden death coin toss tournament to find the only person in the history of mankind to win about 34 tosses in a row. Reminds of the question about which of a sequence of outcomes of tosses is made-up. See http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/Co...eHeadsOrTails/ . People don't realize how often unlikely events occur. I'm surprised there aren't more big winners, and wonder at the reasons. You stated that you didn't cherry-pick your own results. However, the vastly greater number of losers didn't come out of the woodwork to tell us they didn't win. The reason that lucky AP's and SP's fuel the fire for the next round of optimistic, or not, gamblers. (Half win and move ahead, are more likely to remain ahead for considerably longer once ahead, and are the only ones to let us know about it.)

I don't think that you have tried to explain here and there what you mean, through analysis or anecdote, by game of opinion. Opinion implies some degree of subjectivity. And, yes, we all have opinions. Which don't imply that the subjective necessarily succeeds where the objective fails; or succeeds in conjunction with the objective. Physicists speak of quantum consciousness somewhat similarly to the gambling system players of a subjective mechanical system of play. "Can understand and do it but not bottle it for general consumption."

Is it a challenge between non-professionals, office employees, sports fans, or what? Those things are quite different from provably quantitatively raising the bar on something as an expert with respect to other experts. Sounds like you won a few contests not that many care about. Or, you made too few actual larger bets for the expected mean to kick in. Some people earn/save $30,000 a year in coupons and store contests as pastimes. Doesn't make it anything to write home about.

Absolutely 100% flip sides of the same, exact coin. I have seen this in the casinos and extensively on the gambling forums. Right down to the personal libraries of relatively expensive (compared to nothing) flaky name-dropping gambling books, and the "secret weapons" hideously obscured from the simple light of day. "To the grave." If you're a for-real gambler, then why not take your "treasure" over on some for-real math forum, and have the guys there take a quick look at it. The Combinatorics & Optimization department could work wonders on even, say, Mickey Crimm's detailed gambling logistics. Linear programming: which routes for which casinos for which machines at which times. In general, have your "analyses" greatly reworked and improved over night by the experts in their respective areas. Experts who couldn't care less about gambling or mentioning it to their friends, unless a new area of math has been inadvertently discovered, and no more reason to gamble. Anyway, do you think that anyone here gives a hoot about advantage or system play secrets? Regardless the sort, gamblers want only one thing: a lot of easy and fast fairy-tale moola. One might more offer to more directly help them out, and place a few free bets for them. Not a second glance. Not really. Whereas people who have a piece of something tangible are much more amenable to moving the thing forward.

Gambling guys - emphasis on guys (with opinions) - all win thousands of dollars every trip. Nothing ever goes wrong, not in all aspect of their lives. Proof? How about the littlest bits of the indirect sort which allow anonymity, etc, to remain intact as for any and all successful persons? "Surely not," they scoff. The "chosen ones" are all too good to ever be spotted, thrown out and hailed such a winner in retrospect.

Even in gambling, skill is sometimes a factor. But where does all that DIY make-work get one? It's not really a correct analogy to compare that to a profession at all, such as either a brain surgeon and a bricklayer. The self-elevated AP musings of system-play voodoo. Casinos throw out the so-called "wise guys" at break-neck speed. Would you play better players than yourself for money, let alone hire watchers, waiters, entertainers, dealers and gambling officials to properly oversee? They certainly won't break you, but nobody's having any gambling "fun" then.

Let's just say that the guy with the edge is the casino. One not being "the house", it doesn't end too well; and only slightly better for "the house". When the brain surgeon and bricklayer play in the dark, neither sees. They are equal.

Bill, with all due respect, almost nothing you just said applies to sports gambling. Literally nothing.

I'm not going into a tutorial here because I happen to agree with most, not all, of what you said regarding other things. In fact, some of your observations can be applied to society in general.

But these observations don't apply to sports betting. Nobody is operating in the dark.
