Hey LP9, the banning of members using VPN's was recently brought up at GF. Apparently it was due to you using a VPN that you were shown the door, rather your reluctance to discuss the matter. Just saying like...

Yep thats what pisses me off
GF is the only board i've ever been on that bans people for simply using a VPN

even though there's no shred of evidence that I have multiple accounts, even though i've broken no rules or done nothign else wrong, I still get banned

and while i get banned, the idiot GF admin allows roulette and forex scammers to thrive on his board

oh yeah and OAB will be back. it's just a matter of time.

and just watch even though it will be obvious that it's him the idiot GF admin won't do anything for months.
so the innocent VPN user gets banned, the scammers and OAB are allowed to continue. SMH

Only after I caught him not telling the truth, and told him he no longer had my ear did say that. He wanted to make it look as if his threat was the reason I was no longer having any conversations with him(perhaps he just wanted the last word?). The fact is, I cut off my conversations with him and that pissed him off, so he wanted to make it seem as if he shut me up/down.

I don't know who is making fake accounts over there, but I know damn well someone is. I would guess it's some service or bot doing it for them. It's so fucking obvious what accounts are likely fake.

The admin seems very confident his site will get lots of members, views, and posts. I have no doubt they know how to build up nonlegitimate members on their forums and then pawn them off as legit sites. I'm sure they have done this before and that's why they put so much effort into remaining anonymous.

I totally agree, the majority of people left posting there (upwards of 80%) are fake accounts, how sad the ADMIN is over there. He's definitely the one responsible for creating those accounts.

Are they just trying to get their hooks into some people with money via forex or roulette, or do they really think someone will buy the growth potential of a site that purports to be about gambling with an admin that claims no gambling expertise, or is it likely something else? What is the purpose of the site, and why are they so locked into staying anonymous, and why do they go out of their way to respond to any hints that they are less than aboveboard?

Anybody browsing the site will have their IP address logged, which is picked up by an embedded affiliation link (you don't have to click on anything), merely visiting the site is all that is needed, this generates fractions of a cents for the board owner.

There was only one other gambling site that I know of which was proliferated with fake accounts to get it up and running, that was BaccaratForums, run by Michael Emilo hosted in Sarasota, which co-coincidently was where GamblingForums was hosted from.
