Thread: New Years 2017 in Vegas anyone?

  1. #1
I received email from Total Rewards on August 17 about Vegas NewYears Eve celebration. It says..... Save the Date, New Years 2017. We are busy preparing to say goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017. We hope you will join us for an exclusive New Year's celebration with a special event sure to get your year started in style.

Stay tuned for the announcement of this year's line-up and a special offer coming to you soon.

Has anyone received more information or the actual invitation?

I didn't get anything announcing New Year's Eve. I went to Caesars the past two years and whether or not I go this coming year at this point is an unknown.

Last year I passed on the big party and concert in the ballroom and did my own dinner at Old Homestead and got tickets to Celine who was also performing for NYE. The previous year I did do the big party and concert with JLo.

I have been there for New Years 2013, 2015, and 2016, but I won't be making it for 2017.

This is because I will have been there right beforehand, and it will be redundant to go back just for New Years.

I missed New Years 2014 because I spent that one in New Orleans (at Harrah's).

Considering trying Tahoe for this New Years. Do they do fireworks there? Anything else cool?

BTW, if you're looking to avoid those obnoxious (and WAY marked up) "New Years Menus" at CET properties, I know two places with normal menus include Nobu and Strip House at PH. I'm sure there's others.

Yes to fireworks weather permitting. We were there once on New Years and it was snowing so hard you could not see anything.

Old Homestead this past New Year's had a regular menu.

My host just called me about NYE reservations. They don't have the entertainment set yet but she wanted to get me booked.
