Here in Atlantic city Ballys and harrahs casino, we have free bet blackjack game. Only one table in both casinos and good luck trying to get a seat. I have played this game and without doubt, this is a very player friendly game. In fact it is such a good game for the players, that the borgata took out that game from its casino, after losing TONS of money in that game...Ballys and harrahs refuses to put more of that game on the floor and I also hear they are taking out the game once the contract runs out. For dealer 22 push, u get free double down or split upto 3 times...,,now all good blackjack gamblers knows that doubling down and splitting are the hands that either puts u in profit of loss... This game gives u that option without u risking any more of your money...,,for example, I never split my 77,88,99against dealer 10, but Becoz it's free in this game I do it. We usually don't double down on 9 against dealer 7 or 8. In this game I do . Bottom line, this game is great for agressive blackjack players

I haven't played BJ in many years, but aren't you supposed to always split 8's vs. dealer 10 (unless you are counting and the count is contrary)?

Correct. This game is not better than standard 3:2 blackjack but it's not a bad game. The push 22 rule created by Geoff Hall is a killer.
