Hi Canadian:
I am planning of going to Atlantis next month under the (watered down) Seven Stars offer. I expect to stay at the Reef tower as there is a kitchenette so at least we can cook breakfast ourselves. The "resort fee" is comped but looks like the VAT and maid fee is not. I was told over four days it is an additional $135 for those. The confirmation I received had buried some weasel-like terms and conditions at the end of the email in small font: "If you redeem this complimentary offer you are expected to play to the same level of casino play or greater. If you do not play or show reduced casino play you may be charged for some or all of your upfront complimentaries including rooms, food & beverage, limos, etc. If you need additional clarification, please contact Casino VIP Services or your Player Development Executive."
What level of play, if any, did you undertake on your trip and did you get any blow back from the resort on any level of play they expected?
I had hoped that I would treat it as the NCL cruise where there were no consequences for how little I choose to play, but I would like to hear actual experiences from others.
Regards, FAB
