Thread: Vegas hotels should "baby proof" their rooms

  1. #21
Not sure if all casinos are doing it yet, but I know there are some that offer walk-in tubs and slide-in tubs (basically taller tubs with a door that seals shut) for older guests and guests with disabilities. I'm sure if someone is really concerned about "baby proofing" a room, they could share their concerns with the front desk and get one of these specially equipped rooms.

    Hi. Thanks for joining.

I've been in several rooms that were equipped for handicapped persons that include bathrooms with a shower where someone could even take a wheel chair or walker into it. There was a curtain -- no shower door or glass enclosure -- and the shower floor was level with the bathroom floor.

Baby proof casino hotel rooms? Nonsense. All that'll do is get more Mexican families from LA dragging 3 and more kids to the hotels, annoying others when they cruise the aisles, the cheapo buffets, and just about everywhere else. KEEP KIDS HOME, you fools. Take them somewhere that kids like and belong.

If you've ever really looked, the VAST majority of wheelchair-riding cripples who go into casino/hotels are oxygen-toting, hacking & coughing fools who have any of a number of smoking diseases....and we'll they should. I don't agree with those "handicapped" rooms at all. These people should stay home, where they're much more comfortable.

Please do tell Bill. She's a cripple??

I did, however, enjoy your display of irritability with me.

Everyone knows the Mexicans tend to hang out at Circus Circus. As long as you stear clear of Circus Circus, you should have minimal problems with the Mexicans, Rob.

I find the "cripple" comments particularly lacking in class. My mother, aunt, and uncle all suffered from MS. It doesn't take much to go from star athlete to "cripple" when you have that kind of disease.

I avoid Bellagio where all the wops hang out. Nothing worse then having to put up with a bunch of greasers at the buffet.

If not for this forum, how could anyone learn the ins and outs of gambling.

Or where all the scrubs, chain smokers, Asians, etc., hang out...
