Thread: Renew your 2017 Seven Stars/Diamond tier status for free* (almost)- Atlantic City, NJ

  1. #1
Are you renewing or re-qualifying for Total Rewards Seven Stars/Diamond status in 2017?

Consider take a trip (or two) to Atlantic City, NJ. Let the sign-up bonuses (SUB), first deposit bonuses (FDB) and loss rebates promotions (LR) of selected New Jersey Internet Gaming Sites subsidize your expected losses as you earn your required tier credits.

The best $10 for 1 TC video poker game for high enough stakes is 9/7 Double Pay Triple Double Bonus, which can be found in $1, $2, and $5 denominations. The expected loss is around $3,800.00 and $380.00, respectively, to renew Seven Stars and Diamond tier statuses.

    ---

I list below the expected values of all (what I consider) playable NJ DGE Licensed Internet Gaming Sites, rounded up to the nearest $25 increment. The current value of all bonuses listed below is $3,275.00.

Clearing these bonuses at a moderately aggressive coin-in pace (e.g. $20/hand blackjack, $0.50 denomination video poker) takes approx. 25-30 hours, for a $131.00/hour earn rate.

    Operator 1

    a. +$125.00 (SUB, FDB)
    d. +$325.00 (SUB, FDB)

    Operator 2

    a. +$300.00 (SUB, FDB)

    Operator 3

    b. +$850.00 (SUB, FDB)
    d. +$125.00 (SUB, FDB)

    Operator 4

    a. +$650.00 (FDB)
    b. +$650.00 (FDB)

    Operator 5

    a. +$125.00 (SUB, LR)
    b. +$125.00 (SUB, LR)

Please explain this. I am 100% unfamiliar with any online gaming in NJ. Are there tier points for Total Rewards with online gaming? Are there play-through requirements for the online money?

Yes. Operator 2 allows you to link your Total Rewards card to your online gaming account. You earn both online Reward Credits and Tier Credits for playing on DGE Licensed Site a), which can be transferred to your brick-and-mortar Total Rewards account.

Yes. Again, using Operator 2 as the example: The offer is a $20 sign-up bonus and a 100% deposit match bonus, up to $300. The play-through requirement is $6,400 coin-in before the $320 combined bonus is released. Your expected loss on $6,400 coin-in is a nominal $29.

Interesting, but even if I could do this in California I wouldn't. I don't play (gamble) online and see no fun sitting on a computer in my underwear playing video poker or craps with virtual dice.

So to be clear, this is actually an advantage play (somewhat involving CET), which then will hopefully leave you up overall and make it hurt less when you likely lose money on the way to Seven Stars?

Thanks for the summary, nerakil. Much appreciated.

I need to know if anyone can do this outside of New Jersey?

    redietz: you are welcome.

Alan: you cannot play for real money outside of New Jersey. However, you can open and setup an account (including making deposits/withdrawals) from any state.

So there's no point for me to play in California since I can't earn points?

You can't play for real money on these NJ sites outside of NJ, the sites have a geolocator and won't allow it.

Not sure if you can earn points for using play money...like MyVegas for example.

Alan: It's just advantage play for a knowledgeable gambler who happens to be in New Jersey. You might not travel to New Jersey anytime soon or even be interested in setting up accounts, but maybe someone you know might take advantage of it.

There is one other unethical play: sign up everyone close that you know and deposit in California via Visa/MasterCard or ACH transfer, then designate one person to fly to New Jersey to play and clear everyone's bonuses (he gets a cut for his time, of course). Once he is finished, cash out your winnings to your bank via ACH transfer or check. You never leave the state of California.

coach belly: No points earned in demo mode or play money mode.

Now that I understand this better it appears to be a lot of risk for a little reward. Doesn't it?
