Thread: Guide to the best Las Vegas blackjack at $3/$5/$10/$25/$50/$100 levels

John Mehaffey did this great piece regarding where you can find the best "rules" blackjack games in Vegas:

Interestingly, it seems that $5 and below games with 3:2 blackjack payouts and decent rules are now extinct on the strip, but can still be found in the locals casinos.

Why is that find a surprise? Only fools play ANY casino games on the Strip.

Rob, I did not know craps on the strip was significantly inferior to craps off strip. Please furnish some details.

Actually Caesars Palace has the best craps available anywhere with the Small Tall All bets still at maximum pays and triple field for 12, and no pre pay vig on buying 4 and 10.

Ploppies don't care. They'll play anywhere a seat is open regardless of the payoffs/rules.

    Hi Alan:

Is that true for all other craps tables run by CET in Vegas? Does anyone know whether the watered down Small Tall All bets are better odds compared to the Firebets? I heard the full pay STA bets were only a third the house advantage as Firebets.

You seem to have a lot of animosity towards the strip. Is that where you ran your family into bankruptcy?

Paris still has the Firebet. I'm not familiar with any of the other Vegas Caesars casinos.
