Thread: Pechanga Casino changes logo and slogan

  1. #1
For the longest time since the opening of the resort (2002 or 2003?), the logo has not changed. I am not sure when the Experience It All made its debut, though there is a lot to do at the resort.

With "The Next Chapter" expansion phase 1 just about complete, which is mainly a new parking structure and parking enhancements, some of my private offers by mail now have a new logo and slogan. I heard there are rumors that players who reach Platinum tier status can get a reserved parking spot with the new parking.

The website and many other marking flyers still use the old logo. The website has the new slogan "Play on Another Level".

    Old (has light shaded circles)

    New (has light shaded feathers)

Unfortunately playing on "another" level is not necessarily a "better" level. Had they come to me for their advertising, I would have pushed for "Play On A Higher Level" or something similar that would indicate better.

    Another option:

    Play on a Winning Level

I have 0 skill in marketing, but I agree with your assessment.

I get the vibe that their catered audience is towards people who are thinking about going an extra distance to go to Vegas more so than other Native American tribal casino. In another words, Vegas is their competition, not San Manuel/Morongo/Pala/Agua Caliente/Valley View.

They've updated their website today with the new logo. I see more Pechanga billboards than any other casino, their marking resources may be more abundant than others.

It is no surprise that you see more Pechanga billboards and TV commercials and radio commercials than any other casino's... Pechanga is the biggest, wealthiest casino in Southern Cal. And what surprises me is that with all their money they hired an ad agency that made such a tremendous blunder.

I saw a new Pechanga TV commercial last night. Had I not read this forum, I would not have known that the logo and graphics referred to Pechanga.

    Somebody really blew it.

I have yet to see it. I've seen the Experience it All commercial many times.

The TV commericals for Morongo are so overhyped.

Pechanga still pounding away at their major expansion.... So far what did they have to show for it?

Another operational parking lot that will be closer to the newer resort area that is still being built (a long walk to the current casino/hotel)
    Closed valet (construction)

    Still better than Morongo.
