Thread: Total Rewards offers an early booking bonus for Seven Stars

  1. #1
Caesars Total Rewards is offering a 5,000 tier point bonus for booking this year's Seven Stars Retreat early in Vegas and Lake Tahoe. For players who have not yet earned the 150,000 point renewal this has some value.

The Retreat must be booked for the period during April and May.

The 5,000 tier point bonus can be worth $50,000 coin-in on video poker.

    Hi Alan:

What I found odd is that I thought Annual Seven Stars Retreats had to be for locations other than a player's CET "home." But I received that same email and LV is my "home" although it could now be Tahoe given I have gone there more regularly. So now I am being invited to a Retreat at places that had not been authorized.

Also, what happens if one does not actually earn the 150,000 threshold and do not earn the Seven Stars Retreat? Can you use a Retreat before you qualify?

Finally, it looks like CET is trying to get at least some Seven Stars (I live in California) to use Retreats in Nevada. I regularly use mine for New Orleans, I wonder if the push for Nevada is directed to all Seven Stars or just some, like those located in California which would be a cheaper flight to Nevada. Additionally, buying a Retreat ticket far ahead of time should reduce the ticket cost.

The way I read the email, I can choose either Tahoe or Vegas. Caesars is my home casino, so perhaps they changed the rules?

Or perhaps the "home casino rule" was overlooked in this email?

If you made 7 Stars in 2016 you are 7 Stars again in 2017 even before earning 150,000 tier points... so this promotion would help you get to 150,000 tier points for 2017.

Regarding air fares: air fares are so volatile it's hard to tell when you get the best prices. Booking one week in advance could be the same low price as booking 9 months in advance.

Actually, the 5,000 tier point bonus is a joke.

Unless you are earning tier credits suboptimally, it will do you no good, as optimal earning of tier credits will rack up in multiples of 7500 or 15,000, but never 5,000.

Simply put, if you are doing it right, you will never end up 5,000 tier credits short, so these extra 5,000 won't help you.

And why only 5,000 tier credits? They can't spring for 5,000 RCs, as well?

Not everyone plays 5,000 tier points in a day... or 2,500 in a day to "optimally" score their bonuses.

Here you're getting 5,000 tier points for zero play.

Some people might play live poker and also have done the Quest Rewards which can accumulate some points. You could have earned 10k in points the past few months doing that and then getting an extra 5k points would save you a day of 50k coin in v.p..
