Thread: Going to Redrock and Palace Station from the Strip

  1. #1
I'm driving to Vegas in a week. I usually just hit the casinos on the strip, but you guys have me considering Red Rock and/or Palace Station, especially after having looked on their websites and seeing some interesting vp machines. Not to stay, just to play.
How far of a drive are they from the middle of the strip (Paris)?
Are they easy drives? I'm a chicken driving in traffic when I'm not familiar with the area. 😂
    Thanks

While I am not an expert on getting around Vegas, I have made the trip from Caesars to Red Rock (and back) many times. There are a number of ways, but I think these 2 are the best:

    1. Most direct but can be slower--take Flamingo west to 215 and 215 to Charleston. 20-30 minutes.
    2. Take 15 south to 215 and 215 to Charleston. Longer but usually a few minutes faster.

If anyone knows a better way, I haven't found it but again I am not an expert on travel around Vegas as I usually just stay on the strip.

I'd suggest regnis' first option for Red Rock.

Getting to Palace Station is just head north down the strip from Paris to Sahara Avenue, take a left, and it's 3/4 mile on your left.

Thanks guys. A lot closer and easier to get to than I thought.
It'll be a nice change from the strip.

When all else fails, use Google maps.
