I've been having a heck of time following Janet around Vegas. Wednesday night is her karaoke night and this time she wanted to try the Fortune Casino in Henderson. I was surprised -- it was a cute little casino with little smoke, and a perfect temperature -- one of the few casinos I've ever been in where I didn't need a jacket. She went into the "Fortune room" to watch and sing karaoke with friends and she said I could try out their craps table.
Their craps table was quite a lot of fun because it was a $1 game. No kidding. And the best part about the $1 game is that I finished the evening with a $32 profit after tipping.
Then I joined Janet to watch her second and third songs and to have dessert.
After that her next stop was the same bar owned by Ellis Island where she had a drink and I had a diet coke (I don't drink) and played a little video poker.
On my last four trips to Caesars I didn't get quad aces... but playing 25-cents Bonus I got quad aces. And I got the quad aces when holding a single jack. Amazing luck. Photo below. Profit at video poker was $135 on the evening, and this time both our drinks and food were comped. Photo below. But as you can see, its a ten-coin bet at 25-cents per coin.
