Thread: If you CANNOT pay for parking?

  1. #1
Anyone heard of an incident yet where a casino patron could not pay for parking and what happened?

I can't offer any verifiable accounts of such an unfortunate circumstance, yet I would guess the casino would call in representatives of the local blood bank to draw plasma from your arm directly on the scene. Your cash payment for said plasma immediately becomes garnished towards parking fees before the casino allows you to leave the lot. I would surmise this method to be the appropriate and final coup de grace of casino bloodletting for anyone foolish enough to lose his parking fees in the casino.

C'Mon, anyone who's been anywhere OTHER than these pay-to-park casinos and has had to pay when leaving a parking area or garage--whether attached to a hotel, entertainment event, or some downtown parking garage anywhere--may have run into this at least once--and I have in Tulsa at a city garage.

I left my wallet in my hotel room so I had nothing. The fee was $15.25. It was a time-consuming hassle, but what they do is get your info from either your registration or your rental car agreement, you sign a promissory note, and you call in a CC or send in a check to an address you're given within 30 days.

Two goons do not beat it out of you.

I know that if you can't pay your parking at any of the LA area airports they have you sign for it, then give you time to send in the money.

But are there attendants in Vegas who handle this for you?

At the LA airports there are.

The old " I left my wallet" routine eh?...have known quite a few characters that drop this gem every time a check or tab come....man what a loser

As much as I'm able to rub salt into your wounds--and I do enjoy it--every time I post, I'm gonna have to do it again.

I was on something called a BUSINESS TRIP, doofus, and it got reimbursed.

    Funny.

Of course they don't. Casinos do not like bad publicity. Even in the old days in Monaco...if someone committed suicide the first employee on the scene stuffed ten thousand francs into his pocket to protect the casino's reputation.

Some people would rather park their own car and lug their own bags but will tip generously the attractive cocktail waitresses. It takes all kinds. Misplaced wallets, wandering spouses with my wallet, etc. are fairly common experiences. No one needs to get super greedy over a mandatory parking fee. Sometimes they will simply raise the barrier and let you thru just to avoid any protracted headache,
