CET isn't stupid. They know they can rope all you idiots into losing your money on their poor games because, first of all, you're addicted to playing them and to the TR program. You know who you are....yes you do.

So what about these "cruises"? Well, that should speak for itself. Can you just IMAGINE Alan taking the latest in his string of Lolita's--which because he knows nothing more than constantly dragging them thru casinos, his womanizing label will never wear thin--can you imagine him taking ANY date on a cruise that didn't include 24/7 video poker? That would leave the most beautiful cruise in the world, one that cruises the Hawaiian Islands, totally off the agenda, simply because there are no casinos at any port of call?!!

And can you just IMAGINE casino slugs like jbjb and RS__ doing ANY activity other than wasting their lives inside casinos, whole looking at meaningless futures amongst their current rut of struggles because of it?

Yet there are people who love these cruises, and people who actually PAY for them instead of losing two or three times their value just to claim "I got it FREE from CET"!

I take cruises. CET does not give them for free, but they are highly discounted to where it's an excellent deal (usually you're getting it for about an 80% discount or so, but it varies based upon the retail cost of the cruise.)

I do not play in the casino, because it's awful for the most part. Occasionally I'll play the blackjack tournament (which takes less than an hour) because I have a strategy to make it +EV, even with the horrendous rake they take (sometimes over 50% -- though occasionally there's zero rake and in fact there's an overlay if it's a cruise where people aren't gambling a lot.)

Anyway, I spend almost no time gambling on these cruises. I spend it with my family, and we eat in the specialty restaurants every night, and get off at every port of call and do things.

Rob has dating advice, retirement advice, and life-in-general advice. He's a genuine life coach. I see a Best Buys series: "Deep Thoughts with Rob," followed by "Rob's Guide to Hot Weekends," maybe capped by "Smart Money with Rob," where he guides the audience through bankruptcy, how to not tip, and driving a Winnebago in South Dakota so as to avoid all the pesky traffic and minorities.

I was thinking of binge reading, then realized life is too short.

On a serious note, how do you handle the health aspects of going to a casino? My wife and I are close to giving up going to the casino's as we just can't handle the cigarette smoke. Do you take any precautions while playing?
