Then he can't have an accurate count.

    Just asking.
I don't understand the context of this question or who it is for. Please elaborate.

I was the first to innocently question how Kewl could keep an accurate count on 2 tables. At that time I wasn't really questioning whether it was even possible, but rather looking for some actual information as to how he could do it. As someone who did count for a very brief time (found it too tedious and boring for my taste--and I hate Blackjack) I also knew that there was no way I could do 2 tables, and I am a fairly sharp guy. I kind of dig Kewl's posts and don't want to see him leave, but it does seem like a pretty big stretch that he can track 2 tables without help. Alan's pictures are kind of what was in my mind's eye. Plus, as the hands are dealt at each table, it just doesn't seem feasible to accurately track both.

Be careful, RS doesn't want to be exposed to that kind of skepticism...he may block you.

NO, I am not here to foil or debunk APs. I am here to find out what is honest and what is not.

There are AP strategies which are good and work and I will complement those.

By the way, I really believe in blackjack card counting and I have several friends who are not only accomplished at it, but they've been asked to leave casinos because they slipped up in their betting and I was there to watch it.

By the way, are those automatic shuffling machines at the blackjack tables at the Mirage? I just noticed them. Since I am not a blackjack player, I don't know.

In the middle picture (where you took the "head on" shot), that's a CSM, not an ASM.

Of course you're not going to be able to track a table next to you if it's a full table with people standing around, like what you'd see on the strip on a weekend night. Now if you're there when it's relatively slow, or at least that table next to you has 1 or 2 people seated in the proper position, of course you're going to be able to track it, assuming your back isn't towards it or anything else stupid like that. I've tried it a few times and although it's not super simple, it's not super difficult either. Only did it when the conditions were perfect (for me) to see if I could do it and learn / get better. At the time I was mostly phasing out of BJ play and more into machine play and didn't really pursue it further, especially since I later decided to mostly only play DD games on occasion.

Of course there are conditions when it can be done... I'd expect nothing else from you.

But really, do you play in casinos where tables are so close to each other that you can really see the cards at the next table?

I'd like to hear from others who will now check out the tables as redietz suggested.

What an absolutely ridiculous exercise that was Alan. Completely manipulative and dishonest. If those images taken on a phone represent your vision, what you are actually seeing, you would be declared 100 legally blind. You should not be leaving your home and for god sakes, stop climbing behind the wheel of a car.

I am not familiar with who you are, Alan. You claim some kind of reporter, or maybe a retired reporter. Claiming the images you posted are representative of someone's....anyone's....actual vision is one of the most dishonest things I have witnessed. This is intentionally manipulating the evidence. Doing so in the name of "reporting", speaks to your honesty as a reporter and a person.

A phone camera makes everything look further away, which was obviously your intention...again...dishonest. As proof, I offer this drill to all. Stand 10 feet from a wall that has a clock or picture. Now take a picture of that wall with your phone and tell me if that is representative to your actual vision. Good grief.

The first picture is so intentionally blurry, it is not worthy of a comment. Picture #2, while somewhat clearer, is taken of a blackjack table across the pit, which was NOT the exercise. Again this was intentionally done to manipulate the evidence. But even this picture, the clearer of the two.....are you suggesting this is representative of anyone's actual vision? There are slot machines 35 feet away where you can not even make out the type of machine. Completely misrepresentative of even a person with poor eye site's, actual vision. Just fundamentally dishonest.

I don't know how much I will continue to participate here, or if I will at all. But I do know that you have now revealed yourself as a fundamentally dishonest individual. Someone I have little interest in interacting with.

And for the record, you asked how a person can tell the difference between a nine and a two at a distance. I told you earlier but I guess you chose to ignore it. PIPS! Pips are the little markings on each non-face card. You may not always be able to see the actual number in the corner, but it is much easier to see if a card has two or three pips or eight or nine pips. And it's not only the number of pips, but the layout. Take a close look at a deck of cards. The layout of the Pips are very distinct.

I have no doubt you will rebuff this as well and take a blurry picture of a card where you can't distingue the number or layout of the Pips, because you are fundamentally dishonest.

Watching kew squirm over this is more entertaining than picturing mickey falling off one of his "bought and paid for" bar stools at the local dump.

Kew cooked his own goose the moment he claimed he jumped tables as the count "became positive" at the table next door. That's typical AP phantom bucks theory at its finest. Then AP extraordinaire RS__ tries to come to the boy's rescue by perpetrating the hoax that it is possible--and then adds in the obvious caveat that he wasn't all that interested in pursuing the feat himself because he got addicted to the poker machines.

Several reasons this is all BS: first, it ain't possible without binocular eyes that are also capable of seeing multi-angular, without wearing a cloaking device so no one of authority spots you, and without a computer to keep the genius from mixing up and messing up his own hands. And for a guy already confused about his own identity, even with the aforementioned tools he could never do it.

Any wonder why my column that both debunked and exposed these clowns was so popular for nearly 8 years?

kewlj you told me to go to any casino on the west side of the strip from TI to Mandalay Bay, so I chose the Mirage because I am Platinum and I got free valet parking. I told the valet I would be just a few minutes, so he left my car right there by the main door, and it was waiting for me when I came out a few minutes later.

It was only a few minutes because I showed in the photos exactly what you didn't want me to see and confirm: the tables are too far apart so you can't read the cards on other tables. And it would be impossible if there were actually players at the other tables. Also -- and everyone else will see this too when they do what I did -- you're going to have to twist your head like Linda Blair in the Exorcist in order to look over at another table.

Don't make a big deal out of my blurry pictures because I already explained why they are blurry.

You got caught, buddy. You should never have made the ridiculous claim that you could count two tables. In fact, I've never heard anyone make that claim before. Had you simply said your partner scouted another table and signaled you to move over you wouldn't have been caught.

Now, I have to doubt all of your other statements because as a judge instructs a jury: "If you find that any witness has intentionally testified falsely as to any material fact, you may disregard that witness's entire testimony." (Yeah, I studied law, too.)

looks like the above 3 ass pirates ^^^^^ have way too much time on their hands as usual.....Seriously, who runs out to a casino in the middle of the night, and leaves their jalopy running to de-bunk a point about a stranger on the internet?...Nice quality of life....we already know Swinger and Belly have no lives...Swinger will do anything to avoid conversing with his pet wildebeest that wears a wedding ring.....and the HS boys locker room doesn`t open for Belly until September .

  14. #374
You blew it also Biloxi. I didn't leave my car running. It was left parked at the front door. It was a ten minute drive to the Strip and I needed to get gas and a milkshake too. Plus I debunked a claim (which seems to have gotten under your skin) so all in all it was a pretty good hour of entertainment. It was almost as much fun as putting the ringleaders of a mortgage investment Ponzi scheme in Florida in federal prison when I was an investigative reporter.

  15. #375
Alan, yellowbelly and Stringer are not fooling anyone. Their mental midgetry is shining thru at its finest. The only thing Alan has debunked is he has a brain. KJ did not invent counting two tables. It's an advanced technique and to do it you have to have something the Stringer crew don't, advanced intelligence.

  16. #376
Alan didn't debunk shit. His reasoning is "I can't do it or see it, nobody can."

I don't know how to fly a 747. So in Alan's world, nobody can then. These guys are tools. I'm finished here.

  17. #377
I flew an Eastern L1011 across the Atlantic when I went with a mercy mission to Ethiopia. When I asked the crew what would happen if I crashed the plane, they answered "if we crash here no one will find us so no one will find out you were in the left seat."

jbjb no matter what BS you say, I opened it up for everyone to do what I did. Let them. Let them reach their own decisions. I am sure redietz and regnis and the others will.

But in the meantime, keep up that "wannabe AP pledge" to support your "wannabe AP brethren." You don't want to give up the club ring or the secret handshake, I'm sure.

I concede it is indeed an advanced technique. It's so advanced you need super vision and x-ray vision combined. And heaven forbid the dealers at both tables are dealing at the same time, and at the other table be sure the cards are fully showing so you can count the pips.

Alan, how close do you have to be to determine if a card is a facecard or not....because that is more than half the battle. Tell us in the number of feet. Instead of running your mouth about it being impossible take your deck of cards, remove a six, seven, eight and nine. Set them on the kitchen table then keep backing up until you can't distinguish the six from the other cards. Tell us how many feet it is.

I have to say that I've never heard of counting two tables at once. I have never even thought that was possible, even on a lighter-trafficked night where people won't be standing/sitting in your way.

Isn't there a glare off the cards which would already make this very tough? Even if you're sitting at the correct seat (the closest to the next table), wouldn't the action be to your back?

I don't know... I haven't tried it, but it doesn't sound like something that could be done.

Next time I'm in a casino, I will look more closely.
