More ignorant blather from one of the dunces. Suncoast ran the AP's off because of multiple point days that gave them a 100.6% play. They ran two dozen players off over a stinking .6% advantage. There was a big discussion about it on vpFREE. Dancer even wrote a two part article about it. Wise up.
Handicap criteria are ranging. Somebody could be handicappe based on a cardiac or lung issue meaning they can't walk long distances doesn't mean they can't operate a bike. And if they are trike bikes many now have semi automatic transmissions. Myself I have nerve damage in my left leg and could never operate a Reg bike but a CanAm Spyder I could.
Newsflash dude you would've been able to get a temporary handicap placArd had you asked and it would've been renewable. I know because I had one when I jacked up my ankle foot and lower leg was in a cast no weight bearing for 12 weeks and a brace for another 2 1/2 months. Also when I had serious back issues in 211 into 2012 I had a temp placard because I couldn't walk for very long due to pain.
Always more then needed except in Florida my mom has a perm placard she's 70 with back surgery and just had first of two hips replaced. I can tell you Florida and here in AZ no such thing usually as extra HC spots with all the retirees
My point was even though I was crippled, I didn't want to take a handicapped space. I completely destroyed my foot and ankle and was told I would never be able to walk normally again or play any sports. Only option was to fuse my foot to my ankle. I refused and it took over 2 years but I rebuilt my ankle and eventually was able to play all sports as well as semi pro hockey albeit always in pain and a step slower.
Cripples should stay home and out of the rest of usun's way. Nothing more annoying than to get stuck behind a peg-leg or copd turd with oxygen or in a wheelchair when walking thru a store or casino.
