I never seen the original but I did watch or try to watch the Hollywood Remake in 2007.
It appears that Hollywood remade the movie down to the music and most of the exact scenes.
I am pretty sure I finished it a couple of times but was doing other things as the movie couldn't hold my attention.
Perhaps too sadistic for me.
Strange choice of a movie to draw you into the business.
