Assuming I’m consumed with jealousy over such ridiculous claims is beyond stupid.

First of all, I just got done with 8 weeks of chemo, and radiation on 06/16, hoping to treat bladder cancer. I won’t know how effective it was for a couple more months. I take 7 pills a day for my heart after suffering one stroke and one heart attack, because stents were not possible. The only reason I bring this stuff up is because any day I could end up pushing daisy’s up through the soil. I lived a great life, and have no fear if the time suddenly arrives. So to even think I'm jealous of this nonsense with so much on my plate, shows how uninformed you actually are.

I spent lots of time in casinos all over the world throughout my life, and had some great unforgettable times in many of them. The two weeks I just spent in Vegas on a gambling marathon took a toll on me.

Do you really think after I click out of these stupid gambling forums I’m thinking even for one more moment about this nonsense? I couldn’t care less about anything ssho88, axelwolf, kewlj, redietz, rs, or any of the other whatever’s say or said.

This is entertainment for me, and until I know for confirmed fact about these alleged anonymous claims, I’ll remain skeptical and steadfast on my beliefs.

He said they played for 15 weeks, with three investors netting a profit of US$ 270k each. His demeanor in the thread is very boastful, so I would assume he's describing his most successful 15-week period, and he may not be including expenses away from the tables. The play was only available for 15 weeks because the casinos then reduced the payoffs.

There's an expression that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. My point was that this is not an extraordinary claim. Casinos make mistakes, and smart, disciplined people exploit them.

The game was Buffalo Blackjack in Colorado, with a side bet called 21 Magic. The casinos screwed up by allowing bigger bet amounts than the game designer intended. For Cartwright, the game was very profitable, but only because of his impressive skill set. It's not something anyone could do. I think kewlJ also played the game, but he presumably relied on others for the critical math analysis.

Apparently the side bet was available with exploitable bet amounts for something like 5 years before anyone "discovered" it.

Mine is probably the most important question which can be formulated, at least in the context of trying to improve the lot of mankind.

It is the blind acceptance of a proposition ("god exists, most especially the god as I envision him") without proof that has lead to the creation of religion, and with religion came the myriad disputes / wars / and current jihads as to just whose imaginary friend is the "real" ghost.

If we evolved monkeys are ever to get off the hamster wheel we need to cast such foolish notions onto the slag heap and face life with an open, rational, logical mind, a mind not chained down with foolish notions.
