"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

I've seen Sigma Derby at MGM, and wondered: does skill really play much of a part in it, or is it just random chance?

No idea how the horses are controlled, but if two players did exactly the same thing at the same time would the horses be even at the end, or would the machine's programing influence the result?
    What, Me Worry?

This comes to mind as what you need to beat that game.

Hwy. 2, Montana/North Dakota stateline just south of the Canadian border. Home of the most remote 2/5 NLH games in the country. Game was gangbusters during the Bakken Oilfied boom.

Great pics Mickey. Question... When traveling and signing up for cards, do you use a local address or a distant address with the players club?

Looks like a relaxing drive. Heading west through the mountains. I'll have to check out 90 on the atlas. I don't think I've ever been on 90. The northernmost cross-country I've done was 70, I think. Same with train routes. I think Amtrak follows 70, for the most part. So I've never seen this part of the country.

I use my Montana address. I have my roommate go thru the mail. He texts me pics of the mail so I can get any codes I need. Whatever area of the country I'm in I tell him to look for that stuff first.

With Amtrak the California Zephyr runs between Chicago and San Francisco. The route goes through Denver. The Empire Builder runs between Chicago and Seattle. The route is well north of I-90 in Montana. It runs along Hwy 2 the northernmost US hwy in America. It stops at Glacier Park.

    Home again.

Just curious as to whether you earned substanitially more money (after expenses) on your cross-country gambling trip than you typically would have earned had you stayed home and gambled as usual?
