Thread: Road Pics

  1. #221
Blackhole has taken this thread to a far off place it was never intended to go. This thread is supposed to be about the pictures I take of the casinos I visit on the road, something I enjoy doing. Blackhole is out to ruin anything of value on this site. And what is so fucked up about this site is he is getting away with it. I'm not going to go with it much longer. Dan is going to have to make a move on blackhole or I will end my participation here. Life is to short to put up with this his kind of bullshit. I may start my own blog where I have control on content. Blackhole will be banned from posting there like he should be here.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

I'm taking this to all out warfare on blackhole. He's a punk little bitch that needs a mudhole stomped in his ass.

Oh Mickey, please say it ain't so. I'm sorry for being honest. I'll never be honest again, and promise to go along with everything you say.

Google any of the casinos Mickey took a picture of. You'll get a much better perspective of what the casinos are like, than just the parking lots.

Sorry Mickey, I promise that's my last derogatory comment.

You're a fucking liar. It's all out warfare, bitch. You wanted it so you got it.

You don't have the market cornered on what are appropriate values, what's sane, and what should be considered entertainment. Mickey's behaviors looks nuts and desperate to you. Your behaviors look nuts and "desperately trying to find some fun" to me. You're no more right than I am.

And no, I'm not jealous of how you behave. That was a weird thing to say. I've existed in full-blown gambling milieus for 40 years for months at a time 24/7. I've never done what you do. Your behavior seems loony to me. I couldn't do it with someone else's money, much less mine. If I want to make charitable contributions, they won't be to CET.

My point was that you seem to think your perspective has some authority to it because, what, more people like to blow money the way you do than don't?
What does paying directly for the wife’s facial have to do with the price of fish? How did you get me trying to corner the market on what’s appropriate, sane, and what should be considered entertainment, out of what I said?

What???? You assume I think my perspective has authority to it because more people like to blow money?

The only thing weird here was your response.

Why do you think what mickey does is sad, and what you do isn't sad? Have you taken a poll?

"And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God."

Maybe mickey's shooting for the Kingdom of God. It was a popular place until a few years ago.

You would be guessing wrong. On occasion, I watch Southpark, Famliy guy, American Dad whenever my GF has it on, but i wont tune it in myself. I normally like watching movies or shows based on true events, or stuff on the history channel like.... The Cars That Made America, Men Who Made America, Amerca the story of us, Walking With Humans, anything about the gold rush. Hell on Wheels was really good. Just about any Mob movie. I enjoy watching the other stuff like Breaking bad, Ozark, Game of Thrones, American horror stories with my GF.

I did like the movie American Made, I just seen that the other day.

Let's not forget Dawson's Creek in the 90's, I certainly couldn't miss watching Kate Holmes.

One of my My favorite movie of all times was Stand By Me.

We watch a lot of the same stuff. I also watch FOX News, Clinton News Network and MSLSD.

I've been to Evansville but totally missed this place.
In case I get back, how was it? It looks nice in the pictures. But a lot do and they're creepy when you're there because of panhandlers wandering around and the like.

I have been there, tho many years ago before it was a Trop casino. At that time it was a dump--dark, smokey, horrible VP. The pictures above look better than what I encountered.

There is a small race track about 15 minutes from there in Henderson Ky. It is a little dump in the middle of nowhere but runs a pretty decent short meet. Since there was nowhere to go for food or entertainment in a 15 mile radius of the track, I used to go to that casino. At that time, it was a multi-story deal and all the VP was in a dark corner in the basement. The whole Evansville area looked like the aftermath of nuclear war.

I looked it up on the internet and where Mickey visited and took pictures just opened last week. It had been a riverboat, and if it was near where the current place is per Google maps I never got that far West.
That whole area was depressing. I was only there once for a few days and the only free evening I remember having I walked around a Walmart or some superstore near my suburban hotel for something to do.

I'm laughing my ass off. The only thing my wife and I could find to do at night was walk around a liquor/grocery store, and it definitely wasn't an upscale type store.

I can only imagine. These days if there's not a casino to wander I stick to the Walmarts or KMarts, or if it's early enough larger chain stores or shopping malls, to avoid the whole odd local store where you stick out like a sore thumb and feel obliged to find something/anything to buy. Occasionally I find a local treasure though - like Jungle Jim's outside of Cincinnati, which is fun to wander around.

French Lick Resort looks like a high school or hospital from the outside. They better have good signage out front so people know what the hell it is.
