Also, you are heading toward Las Vegas: what plans if any have you for the casinos in Sin City?
Expenses have been running about 25% of the earn. No plans for Vegas. For the plays I'm working there's to much competition there. I prefer being a diamond in the rough than a dime a dozen guy. And there is no way in hell I'm going to put in the long hours on the monet type plays.
Go see a show or something.
Take off that stupid mask you big baby.

Micky have you ever checked out Mt. Charleston? All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy after all.

I like magic which Vegas is great for. It blows me away to think of what a guy like Teller could accomplish with sleight of hand in the casinos.

You've been a road warrior for months now, Mr. Crimm: it's probably time to find a hooker in Sin City and get your ashes hauled.

By report they're fairly common there.
    What, Me Worry?

I seen Joan Jett last month and I'll be seeing Pat Benatar and Clint Black in the near future. Probably more concerts, haven't checked them all out yet.

V, I have a lot of experience with Nevada hookers.

Or what he did accomplish before he became famous.

Who runs the smaller gas station casinos? Golden Entertainment (the same people that run PTs and the stratsophere)? I know golden runs a bunch of the gas station machines in Illinois, which is right next door to me... I wonder if it's worth the trip over there to scout the games?

Red Hot Jackpots is found in a lot of spots but just for pennies. The rare nickel banks are worth some money. It's a minor play at best on pennies. If I'm walking by and see a decent number I'll jump in, play two machines until I hit the rhj or someone else does....then cash out and move on.

Commerce, Oklahoma. The house that Mickey Mantle grew up in. You can see part of the tin barn on the right.

There is still one bank of RHP for penny's at my local. That, and a bank of plainum quick hits are the only exploitable reel machines in the whole place that I have any knowledge of. Is Super Red Hot Jackpots exploitable if that comes in?? I would love to know if there is anything else!! There are no "must hit by" machines in my state, so I need some help!

I haven't done any work on the super's but from a little observance it appears the meters move to slow to develop any positive situations.

Thanks for all of the photos and information, mickey. I'll be zigzagging across the country the next month, so I will start my own mini-roadtrip thread as a tribute to your adventures. I think I'll start with a trip report of my LA to LV excursion and the gambling experiences of the next week or so. If I run into something I don't quite grasp, I will just ask you a question on that thread. I still do not understand the age and makeup of most machines at The Golden Pony. The place scared the hell out of me -- it was like a lower class version of the Wild Wild West in Las Vegas. Now think about that for a second.

Thanks for your photos. I will endeavor to post some interesting things.
