Thread: A New Obsession

In case no one's noticed, I've succeeded in commanding yet ANOTHER poor fool into being under my intoxicating spell. No, I'm not talking about kew, who sort of snuck in thru my back door. This time it's fake news redietz, who's SO infuriated with me successfully calling his bluffs that he's finally at his last straw: name-calling while posting to be as if I'm him chummy friend or his "man".
His posts have greatly increased in size and frequency, and THAT can be attributed to him trying & trying, but never really being able to scratch away his RS itch. And that makes me tingle with satisfaction.

On another front--oh wait!....I'm wanted on a conference call from the VP of Boeing, the President of Norway, and a university professor. Subject: an upcoming hosted event called "How To Post Claims, Links, & Pictures on the Internet"; and, How To Mail Documentation Like a Responsible Adult".

Hey Rob... how about writing another article about the current casino landscape in Vegas and how to approach the casinos to get more for your money? (And skip this other crap?)

I finally figured out how to describe the differences between Mr. Singer and myself, thanks to this post and an email from one of the silent majority on this site.

It's all about names. Rob has a fixation on names to verify my credibility. Then it occurred to me. Arci was right. It's all a projection thing. God, I hate pop psychology, but Rob has never provided names of anyone who would go to bat for him as a client. He has never provided a name of someone current in the industry (the late publisher of Gaming Today not included -- he's dead). So this whole thing comes down to Rob's lack of names.

So, and I have never done this as a project before, I decided to think about who I would use as references who would go to bat for me both as having gambling expertise and being a stand-up guy. The list of my "reference letter" people would be (1) a current (soon to be retired) CFO of a pharmaceutical firm, (2) the former VP of Boeing, (3) the publisher (and his son) of one of the largest selling sports magazines in the country, (4) a current chair of an academic department at a major university, (5) the former president of Golden Eagle Distributing out of Sacramento, who Alan may possibly know, and (6) one of the biggest and most amazing bookmakers on the East Coast, recently out of white collar prison (they don't hold that against bookmakers-as-references most places).

I realize this list is more impressive than Rob's attempted sarcasm, and that's pretty funny.

Now I have actual names for these folks. The question for Rob is "Does Rob Argentino have any high profile people who will publicly vouch for his gambling expertise and attach their names?"

I think this sums up Rob's name fixation. And I am sorry my list outstrips Rob's attempted sarcasm, but reality is sometimes a funny thing.

"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

This would make sense, because most people who are interested in gaming get a lot more out of what I say and write than they care to admit to....publicly. "The other crap" is for entertainment, although as you can tell, people like red take it as if someone is trying to control their thoughts. Whenever I see him post one of those long rambles--and as everyone knows, they've increased in size, frequency and intensity recently--I read the first line or two and skip the rest. He does make the reader feel his pain.

Rob, it's time to give this up.

redietz seems to be telling the truth about himself.

Perhaps you should focus upon proving one of your many dubious claims over the years, rather than browbeating redietz into "proving" himself further.

I'll give it up. He'll never prove anything anyway. And to say something as weak as "redietz SEEMS to be telling the truth about himself" in a world where the anonymous poster is king, I can see why you didn't opt for a job where you work with people.

Dubious claims over the years? You mean like the "photoshoped" $25 insignia on the Wynn machine? Or was Alan in cahoots with me there too.

Rob can't prove his claims. Rob wouldn't deliver his tax returns to Alan for one reason--they would disprove Rob's claims. Rob absolutely didn't want his "friend" Alan to see them. Alan doesn't know Rob as well as he thinks he does. Rob plays him for a fool.

Only a fool would provide tax returns on gambling when there's multiple other sources of income included, with several overseas accounts involved. That's where the majority or all of other vp players are separated from me. You know, winners vs. losers in many more ways than one. Just look in the mirror for a good, clear explanation mickey. Then take a look at the life of kew. It'll hit hard (careful again kew.... ).
So....how about you proving YOUR claims?

Oh wait!....You think you have the "AP exemption" like the rest of the bs'ers you idolize. No need to support any of their claims, because theory and the accompanying phantom bucks does the job.

Then why did you make a bet that you would put your returns up? Arci called your bluff and you welshed the bet. That's as dishonorable as it gets. You took what little reputation you had left and flushed it clean down the shitter. No one will ever take Rob Singer's word for anything again. You can't be trusted on anything. You did it to yourself, weasel.

Not only did Rob not send me his tax returns, but Arci sent me his returns showing a profit for certain years. And I suspect if he had properly prepared his returns his profit would have been even bigger.
