Blackhole and coach belly....2 of the members I consider anti-AP. And I mean they do nothing but attack AP's. You obviously have some odd hatred of AP's. Blackhole, if you find everything AP's say objectionable....what is it YOU would like to discuss on this site? People start threads on the topics they would like to discuss. In over a year as a member, I see where you have started 3 threads..."Slot machine AP's", "BS AP's", and "Some new AP BS entertainment". All nothing but attacks on AP's....because that is your only agenda, your only purpose here.

Coach belly....similar story. If you are so unhappy with this site and the discussions, I don't see you starting threads of topic that you would like to discuss. You just jump in attacking AP's and trying to create your "gotch ya moments".

Serious suggestion: If you guys are that unhappy here and unhappy with the discussions, find a forum more appealing to you, more appealing to whatever your interests are. Don't just attack others trying to destroy a site, like some sort of spoiled child.

You will note that I did not include Alan in this post. While I do also consider Alan anti-AP, by his many anti-AP comments and actions (jumping up at 3 am to attempt to prove someone wrong), Alan at least contributes to a variety of topics and threads and starts many threads on topics that interest him. He is anti-AP, but he is not exclusively anti-AP. And for the most part, he is respectful in his anti-AP comments.

I am not in favor of banning people for an opposing opinion. That happened to me in the AP community and I am not in favor of that.

Just yesterday, I disagreed with you that blackhole should not be banned. But now just one day, I have changed my mind. People can (and will) call me names...flip flop, inconsistent. But what I did was read through blackhole's and coach belly's contributions on this site. Blackhole has zero...absolutely no positive contributions of any kind. Nothing but attacks. And coach belly is just slightly better, but if you look at his recent contributions, pretty much the same, just attacks.

And now, both have made it clear they are upset with Singer's banning and it looks pretty clear both intend to step up attacks and nastiness in an effort to destroy this site. That is not fair to Dan, but he doesn't seem to mind. But it also is not fair to those of us that want and try to contribute positively and hope the site grows.

Mickey's Road pics thread is an amazing thread, with enjoyable pictures of rural casinos (of which I had no idea there were so many) as well as landscapes and stories to boot. It is the perfect example of a top notch contribution and Mickey puts a lot of effort into it for our enjoyment. And this hateful, spiteful, bitter troll Blackhole is allowed to denigrate it for no purpose other than spreading his hate and misery.

No you don't. I said that yesterday in response to mickey's request for your banning. I am not in favor of anyone being banned because they have a differing opinion. That has happened to me in the AP community and it is wrong.

But is it too much to ask and expect you to show a little more respect than you do. To be a little more adult and not just attack, attack attack!

I just read through your contributions to this site, so don't tell me your purpose is not to attack and NOTHING else. As a matter of act, let's look at the threads started in your more than 1 year here. People start threads to begin discussion of topics they are more interested in. YOU have started 3 threads, "slot machine AP's", "BS AP's" and "some new AP BS entertainment". All nothing but attacks on AP's. Most attacks on mickey specifically, but attacks on me, on Axel, on RS. I mean what is it? Your wife run off with an AP? AP's beat you up as a kid? Mickey's "road pics" thread is an outstanding thread. It is the perfect example of someone trying to make a positive contribution to the site. Most of us enjoy the thread and pictures of many rural casinos we had no idea even existed....along with beautiful landscape shots and interesting stories. There is nothing, absolutely nothing worthy of attack in that thread and yet you have done so repeatedly. Attacked the thread, the pictures and for no reason, mickey...just because he is mickey and you dislike him. If you hate it here, then yes....leave! If not, then just row the fuck up blackhole.

You are correct...I don't like that Dan publicly stated special rules concerning Alan. This is not Alan's best buys or whatever it used to be, it is a gambling related forum. Alan is involved, even instigates many discussions and setting up special protections concerning him creates an un-level (unfair) playing field. I think it is a shitty way to run a site.

But you know what, I don't get to make that choice. It is just another of many things in this world I don't like. Put it up there with taxes, ATM fees, 6:5 blackjack and faulty heart valves that fail after 6 years instead of 30. Life is full of disappointments.

However, I think I have continued to criticize Alan when he deserves it (IMO), regardless of Dan's individualized protection rule....What do you think Alan?

I'm not anti AP. You just don't like that I challenged your claim that you can count two tables. I'd like to see someone just be able to see all the cards at two tables.

KJ, don't get your knickers in a twist. I'm a cynic, so I have to think any forum with a readership heavy with CET Seven Stars and Diamond members is going to be monitored by various casino execs who will seek to undermine any AP claims or belittle any AP accomplishments. I mean, that's exactly what one would expect. People with vested casino interests, or with past or ongoing contractual relationships with them, are going to post anonymously to undercut any type of AP writing or AP evidence. It's to be expected. I would be surprised if a forum such as this didn't have them.

A forum such as this is actually more potentially damaging to casino interests than a forum like WoV because the majority of the people here haven't really been exposed to the general concept of gambling for profit. So exposing a large number of Seven Star and Diamond players to it is an issue. It's a general forum, not a niche forum. And what you'd expect is both a denunciation of AP play and a general thumb-your-nose at the living standards or play levels of people who manage to AP. Why? Because you want to insulate the high end Seven Stars and Diamond players from the message. Casino execs want to assign some stigma to the AP style of play.

If people weren't anonymous, one could more easily think the anti-AP stuff wasn't casino-generated. But with almost everyone anonymous, and Alan I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) having admitted to some business arrangements with casinos in the past, the anti-AP posting is exactly what is to be expected.

Not sure I understood, but redietz, have you ever spoken to a gambler in a casino? 90% of them are aligned with Rob, blackhole and belly. The casinos don't need to generate anything.

Yes I have done some media work and consulting for casino companies. Frankly the casinos are not concerned about APs but are definitely concerned about cheating. Cost cutting, employees, attendance, debt ratios, entertainment budgets, and everything else that goes into a mega resort.

Sure they don't like card counters but if you don't vary your bet or stand out they won't care -- you're just part of the normal business.

You AP machines? They don't care because someone has to win the jackpots but don't cheat getting there.

The entire AP debate is more "academic" than real. Casinos have bigger concerns like the next big entertainment to book or a restaurant lease.

I'll never forget when I asked a manager about the player at Caesars who won two million in a craps game. (I was there when it happened.) The reaction was that it happens all the time. (Actually it doesn't happen all the time but it illustrates how they don't care.)

Also... look at the number of casinos now who don't enforce the back wall rule. That shows the hysteria over dice setting is over.

You guys who are beating the casinos for a hundred grand a year are of no concern to the bigger companies. But Mickey could never get away with that in a bar in Montana.
