First, I want to share a short update on my medical condition because I know and appreciate that a couple members have concern and interest. I am obviously now home again, having spent a short time at a rehab facility getting some intravenous antibiotics to fight off a minor infection and beginning cardiac rehab to begin to grow stronger. I actually left the rehab facility early. I don’t need a rehab facility with 75 and 80 year olds. I can recover and rehab at home. I have everything here at home that I need including 3 wonderful supportive family members who want nothing more than to help me in any way they can.
I am still only a week (today) removed from heart surgery, still in a great deal of “discomfort” if not pain, still weak, and very easily fatigued and still have a long road of recovery and rehab in front of me. I have accepted that my 2017 is over as far as work (blackjack) and now just want to work to get back to 100% to start 2018. Thanks again to all who expressed concern and support.
I wouldn’t have even bothered posting this second part if I didn’t feel I should give an update on my medical condition to the one of two people that have shown concern and support to me. But I will not be returning to this site. This is my final post. Yes, I know I have said this before and will surely be mocked but there is nothing on this site for me or any other AP. This site is a garbage dump...it really is and it shows zero potential to become anything other than a shit hole. It is dominated by trolls and haters. People that hate everyone and everything including AP’s and the concept of advantage play. But mostly, these bitter trolls just hate themselves.
Hate, and attacks. Destroy every thread. Hijacked and destroyed a wonderful thread by mickey that he put a lot of effort into documenting with pictures his travels and the many casinos. Hijacked and destroyed a thread about my heart surgery. I mean come on...someone’s heart surgery...turned into another thread filled with unrelated hate and personal attacks. I shared the most private, personal and traumatic ordeal that I was going through, basically in real time and it was turned into unrelated trolling hate attacks. I understand some of you couldn’t care less about me or my medical situation, but have the fucking decency to not say anything in that thread then. I find it really hard to believe your Mother’s didn’t teach you better than that. Makes me appreciate the mother I am lucky enough to have, even more.
But hell if attacks on someone’ deceased spouse are allowed, I guess everything is fair game. No limitations. Trolling, hate and attacks at will. I guess that is Todd’s vision for this site.
I put up with it much longer than I should have because I wanted to continue to have a place to communicate with a few AP’s (axel, RS, mickey) and a few new non-AP’s ‘friends’, like redietz and a few others. Unfortunately because of circumstances where I am banned at more legitimate sites, I don’t have many options, so I stuck it out here longer than I should have.
This site was a shithole when I got here, lead by the single nastiest troll I have encountered on the internet, Rob Singer with a few guys that seem to worship and adore him, and Alan who “enabled” him by making excuses for his so called “friend”. I had hoped that with Singer finally being shown the door that things would improve. That is not to say, there shouldn’t be opposing points of view and discussions, but not the shithouse, nasty, name calling and personal attacks. But unfortunately, things have only gotten worse, not better since Singers exit. A few really bitter people have escalated their hate. It continues to baffle me, why Todd would put up with this. I guess that is who he is...he must enjoy this kind of shit. In a sense, Todd is the whole problem for allowing this.
I had hoped this site would grow and become a reasonable site that I could invite a few people I know (AP’s) to participate. That I could tell them, “hey, there’s a decent site I participate on that has decent discussions concerning AP as well as non-AP topics”. Axel has expressed something along the same lines. But this site will not become such a place and I would be horrifically embarrassed to recommend it to anyone. This site is a shithole, where the owner apparently welcomes the worse trolls of the internet.
So unless there is a major change in philosophy somewhere along the line, I will not return. Axel, RS, mickey, and my new friends such as redietz, I hope we will meet again on a more reasonable site, somewhere down the line. Alan: continued good health to you, but I would get those eyes checked. Me thinks you sometime see things that aren’t there. Me thinks you see what you want to see.To all you haters and I don’t necessarily mean haters of me or of AP (although most are), more importantly you are haters of life and yourself. To all of you, I sincerely hope you find some happiness in life and let go of the hate and bitterness that consumes you.
And now I have some walking to do. I am going to conquer the freaking driveway and that 2% incline today.(can't find a 'determined' emoji, so I will use the mad one)
