I have the same offer for January and February. Don't know if I'll do it though...

So I broke it down into five $150 plays. The first 2 poor results came from a deuces wild and an Ultimate X machine.

The last 3 came from a Dragon Link and a Lock it Link slot machine where I just played $1 a spin.

Thanks for the recommendations again everyone! I just suck at VP

Now I just have to hang on to the money over the next 2 days!

Just out of curiosity, did this offer have to be used at Ballys and do the Caesars properties still give you free play vouchers that are loaded into the machines like cash? Or is it pre-loaded onto your card then downloaded to the machines?

    They give you vouchers.

I asked because if it were possible to use at any property and game there in Vegas, I'd have tried the 9/6 JoB Cromwell supposedly has.

Hopefully you'll run better on the next group.

When you register for a free play promotion at a TR casino the free play is specific to the casino you are staying at.

If you claim free play from the Great Gift Wrap Up you can choose the casino.

If you redeem Reward Credits for free play you can pick the casino.

Alan is right. However, even though I'm staying here at Bally's, the Total Rewards clerk asked me where I wanted to play it. So I guess I could have asked for Cromwell.

Could the TR person have been asking Ballys or Paris? I think there is one TR desk for both casinos since they are both connected physically and as a financial unit.

They always ask you where you want your freeplay. You can have a room at Caesars Palace and get the FP for whichever CET LV casino you want.

First time I ever heard that.

Alan, with regards to not being able to book 2 promotions within 4 days, that's not been my experience. The again, I am not picky about where I stay. Perhaps there are blackout days at Caesars Palace that would not blacked out if you stayed at another CET property and used the promotion?
I doubt if anyone I know of is a bigger player than you!

I agree with this. I have seen the most blackout days for free play promos at Ceasars Palace. By contrast, the same offer may have the most days available at Flamingo, Harrah's and Rio. I will be happy to stay at a less luxurious CET hotel (except for Rio) for the Free play.

Actually, there were 2 other casinos that I received freeplay from as well.

$575 from the Cosmopolitan and $200 from the new Lucky Dragon Casino on Sahara.

I made a thread some time ago about spreading play around to generate offers.

I don't know the exact amount of play I gave these 2 casinos before these offers, but I have only ever been in the Cosmopolitan a couple of times (never actually stayed) and just popped into Lucky Dragon for about an hour or so this past summer.

I thought those offers were pretty generous.

It is my belief that heavy continued play at your "home away from home" casino all the time does not generate as good an offer as you playing heavily at a new place.

Dan has even mentioned something like this. Taking "breaks" then playing heavily to be recognized as a "new" player.

These AP players, mickey and RS and Axel, they look and chase offers down from casino to casino.

It might not be as ego stroking as walking into a casino where everyone knows your name, but I like getting good offers more..

There's nothing wrong with playing and staying at Caesars Palace all the time. I mean, as a recreational player you want to be comfortable in your environment. But if your home casino in Las Vegas knows you will come anyway, why would they have to offer you anything good as an incentive?

I don't know who the hell would want that or why. If they know your name you are probably an AP, a star or a degenerate. So, unless you are a star it seems like a bad thing for them to know your name.

This is an interesting topic. If you are talking about the strip / touristy casinos, they don't offer as much to locals as out-of-towners. And that is why some Las vegas resident/players, maintain an out of state mailing address.

But you may or may not be aware that there is a whole "other" Las vegas, consisting of "local's" type casinos that play it just the opposite. They cater to the locals. That is their market. And just the opposite from the strip casino's if you are an out-of-towner, your offers from these local type places, will be less, weighed more heavily on room/food offers than the better free play offers that players with a local address get.

What kind of play are you giving CET to get an offer like this? I'm 7star, and I think the biggest freeplay offer I got this year from the LV casinos was about 40 bucks

Its not the size of your card that counts, its how you use it.

You need to tell us how many tier points you have and how they were "earned."

If you stop play after 150,000 points and you're like Dan who plays every other year, then your offers will be zero just like his.

Does the free play at Cosmo and Dragon require you to check in? If so do you check in at three different hotels just to get the free play plus what ever offers are attached?

I got the same offer $ wise - not sure of the codes - as the pic in the first post. My last several trips I have had 10K earned TCs a trip at CET, 75% slots rest VP, whether I stay 5 nights or 2-3, plus whatever bonuses I get as the play falls into days (usually at least 1 5K night, rest are usually 1K, maybe a 2500K). On longer trips I tend to play other places more.
