Thread: What if ...

What if some clever, disciplined gamblers decided they wanted to devise a method to maximize casino winnings while minimizing risk; assume one of them is a dealer in a casino.

Yes, this would be cheating, and prison would result from failure: discipline and balls of brass would be needed.

Anyway, purely for shits and giggles, what do you think would be the best game to attack, and what would be the best plan of attack?

Yeah, Ultimate Texas Holdem is a good one.

Any game where there's a high payoff bet is probably best, as it would allow for a quick, big hit before people started to watch too closely.

There was an Asian crew going around the country setting up poker bad beat jackpots in the early 2000's.. They usually bribed a dealer and pulled moves to block cameras. They got busted at Circus Circus Reno because they had a pin camera this crew was not aware of.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

I didn't mean UTH because of the big pay offs. I mean because the dealer can just do wrong pay outs and the players would have a nice advantage. Just use the trips paytable instead of the blind paytable, and you're good. Plus, dealer could mistake his own hand and miss the straight, flush, etc. Sometimes as a player you can even "use" one of the dealer's cards.

UTH dealers suck as it is, so if found out, there wouldn't be any red flags because, well, every other dealer does the same shit anyway. It's always fun getting paid 15:1 or 7:1 instead of 3:2 on the blind for a 4-card flush. Or just getting paid even money on the blind every regular winning hand (like winning with a high pair).

Other option might be to just pay off a dealer to expose the hole card(s) in other games, as well. Or if you're real fancy and you believe in this, you could get a roulette dealer to slow the wheel down, spin the ball very slowly, so he can hit a specific sector of the wheel with high accuracy.

You can do what they did at bellagio and make "un-lose-able" hop bets. Until you get found out and go to prison forever.

You can do what the Tran family did (I think that's their name?), and pay off dealers to do a false shuffle in blackjack, so you know the exact order of the cards coming out for the next shoe. Or have a BJ pitch game where the dealer can deal seconds.
