Thread: Is redietz a phoney or loser in the world of sports betting?

The McCusker Report was titled, "Tipsters or Gypsters?" and included subjective summaries of handicappers' business practices and personal histories besides their actual multi-year records. Excerpts from various "Tipsters or Gypsters?" were in the infamous "package" sent to Mr. Mendelson.

    But good try, OneHit.

And I'm sure the National Conference on Gambling and Risk Taking routinely allows scamdicappers to present academic papers. It's done all the time.
I'm... I'm... I'm... I'm.... blah, blah, blah. People who can beat the system, whichever, don't run around telling everyone about it. Go play your own picks if so good, and certainly don't sell or give a single one of them away. But, I suspect, without some sort of (illegal) insider information, your picks will be as useless as all the rest. Forty years down the drain? Maybe, I should email your brother-in-law to get his take on it?

P.S. Pretty good for some moron, eh? Asshole.

Onehit, this is just one more example of what a complete idiot you are. Why don't you put up some of your own credentials. Oh, that's right. You failed at gambling. So your opinion is worth as much as an empty pack of cigarettes.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

Dan Druff??....If This thread is not grounds for a permanent ban, there is something very wrong with you. If you won't take action, then never again, talk about how you want the site to grow so that more members feel comfortable participating...the very kind that have contacted you privately with their concerns.

This is just a question about a member on this site. If you want to believe I am a "failed gambler" out for revenge or whatever, then I plead "no contest" or consent to judgment. Now, can we get on with the question, which should show up on a Google search.

There are countless examples of successful sportsbettors schooling the public, moron.

People deserve to hear the truth, whichever way it goes. Have AP's been trained to not ask questions? I know that cult members are.

Anyone wishing for a couple of McCusker Reports, also known as "Tipsters or Gypsters?", or copies of various articles I've had published or biographical information, or to meet a couple of guys who have worked with me and known me for 20-some years are cordially invited to drop by the Orleans next week. I'll be there Monday-Wednesday. Or leave your name if you want written material left at the bell desk for pickup. We'll be visiting a couple of spas around the city, and maybe taking in a hockey game, so please leave a message if you'd like to coordinate.

If you can't make it, feel free to dial up Marc Lawrence or his son and inquire as to my reputation. Also, you may want to check out www.Vegaswiseguys.com.

Thanks for your interest, and many thanks to OneHit.

P.S. We'll probably be taking in Cook E. Jarr at the lounge in Paris during Monday night football, so feel free to drop in and introduce yourself. We'll spring for a beer or two. I'll lug along one of the infamous "packages" and will have one on hand if we run into you there.

OHW if you think redietz is some kind of sports phony, but you don't have any evidence, why start a thread and give him a platform?

    -----------------------------
redietz do you have some kind of sports service or something like that? Do you charge any kind of fee, commissions or paid by services for providing your information? If so, can you link to it and explain more?

Can you tell us what size bets you normally make?

Do you have some kind of team or group that makes a living betting on sports? Do you get anything extra for your skill and contributions? For example: Given the right cucumstances one might have a situation where he is backed by investors and take less or no risk.

Axel...WTF? These clowns, nor you have a right to demand proof of anything. WTF? Are you joining the witch hunt?

They (and now you) have a right to believe or not believe whatever you like. You don't have a right to proof. What redeitz wants to share is his decision. And there certainly should be no right of anyone to start a thread demanding proof, and calling someone a phony. Complete bullshit! Shame on you Axelwolf.

Axel, I'm not soliciting clients, first of all, and it's a little more sophisticated than anything you asked. I suggest, as a starting point, reviewing the material I previously suggested. I mean, really, just read what I wrote in previous posts and make a visit to the Library of Congress if you're interested in verifying it. If you're interested to the point of a 10-second google search, well, you're out of luck, which is the way I like it.

Or just show up and say hi to Mr. Jarr on Monday. I should be there.

Here the mental patient's psychosis manifests itself as paranoia.

Questioners are seen as haters, questions are considered demands, a platform is a trap, expressing interest is joining a witch hunt.

Red seems to know a thing or two about sports, and he's made an offer of proof for those in Las Vegas who are interested enough in meeting him Monday to view it.

    Sure sounds legit to me.

Check him out, Axel: you're in sin city, aren't you?

Hell, he'll probably give you some free picks.

Maybe a free future if we already played it -- LOL. I have a Monday 9 PM EST deadline on the Wise Guys, so I may be a couple of minutes late for the start of the Monday night game with Mr. Jarr, but if I am, there should be a 6'4" guy there with a dude who looks like Zack Efron's slightly older brother. I'll bring along some reading material for you. If not, I can leave a package for Mr. Axelwolf at the Orleans bell desk. It's a good primer. Some of the material is historic Las Vegas handicapping reading from the days when LV was not corporate.

To be clear, I am not doubting any of your claims or trying to fuck with you. I'm just trying to get the gist of it all. I have googled you, I seen that you placed in some contests. (I won a casino football contest the first time I ever played one and beat out many thousands of entrieries and then took 2nd the next time. It would have been tied for first, but the wrong tie breaker was accidently bubbled in.) Other than that, I didnt get any real information.

I'm not claiming you are soliciting clients. I wanted to know if you HAVE clients? That's an easy question, is it not?

Mr.V I'm not looking to get free picks. I'm just trying to understand a little better.

Red do you know who JoelD is on WOV?

No I don't. I'm not a WoVer. In general, I don't publicly discuss any aspect of what we do. There's no sense to it, cost/benefit-wise.

So, you can't even tell me if you have clients or not?

I asked Red about JoelD several months ago. At the time JoelD's picks were less than impressive (don't know how he is doing now) and I was just wondering if he was someone somewhat known and credible or just some Joe(l) making picks.

Norm's Blackjack site has a guy that makes one pro football pick a week...his best game. He is currently 5-8-1, which is a significant improvement over last year. I think some of the forum members might be looking for his picks so they can bet the other way.

At WoV, there is currently a dude picking basketball. He started out 'axel-like'...woops, sorry, meant to say "flaming" at like 10-3, so last weekend I went with 2 of his picks, Georgetown and someone else, I forget. I lost them both. The second game the guy at WoV had someone at -5 and he pushed. I unfortunately has -5.5 and lost. Wouldn't ya know since then he is 4-1.

Axel, the most well known American handicapper is Marc Lawrence. I have no current formal business relationship with him, and haven't talked to him directly in quite a long time If you're interested in my reputation, dial him (or his son) sometime and simply ask. Seems like an elegant, efficient way to get answers. Find the most high profile guy, ask about a low profile guy, see what the recognized high profile guy with the television show and national newsstand annuals says. Not complicated.
