COUPLE of points...no predictions
I saw a stat that over the last 20 years week 16 had 60 percent dogs cover for teams with a 2 or more point spread.
I was looking at Minny vs Green Bay......vikes are -9. They are playing in frigid temps..around 12 degrees. Neither QB has a stats worth looking at in this type of temp. So does one handle it better than the other??? Also GB in their position wouldnt give a shit about winning since they are eliminated from playoffs. Yet there is this oe thing called revenge....the vikes killed GB with a devistating hit on Rogers..... Will GB be up for this game?? I think so.
Lets say GB gets turnovers and wins this game.....If i look at the standing correctly....that would make the eagles game against Raiders meaningless...since it looks like the tie breaker of division wins..goes to eagles. I think i am looking at this correctly.
I see today that the eagles -9 is going down to 8.5 om some books...maybe anticipating the possibility of the eagles resting playersif vikes lose.
Just some thoughts.....I am fading both those games.
I do like Jacksonville.....with all the hype around SF and garappolo......this may be of value. The offensive line has been weak all year for SF.....and the new QB has been getting rid of the ball quickly to counter the weak line.....I am not sure he can do that this week...When allis said and done SF is still a below average team with an above average QB....going against a intense defense, and an average offense with an average QB. I live in the bay area, all the hype is with SF......but I just dont see it this week. SF is a below ave team with still alot of injuries.
