Thread: 2017 results?

  1. #1
Anyone interested in sharing any gambling results from 2017? I have shared my results for 10 years since I first joined a blackjack message board years ago. Not sure I want to here this year because of the nature of this site....prove this...prove that. But I am happy to if others want to.

I would love to know what kind of profit someone like Monet makes, as well as Axel, Mickey, RS, and our new AP friend MaxPen (and others). Not in a pissing contest way, because everyone is different, plays different games, approaches, betting levels. I am never competing against anyone but myself.

That's because you don't want to. If you wanted to and tried to you could.

You are free to post your losses if you like. I am interested to know what a guy like you throws away for fun.

    This is Barney,

Very, very, most happiest of New Years to all of APees on this greatest of forums. I did very greatest on slut machine devices following some of the greatest insights from the Mickeys musing. The LID was slightly net positive for year with the games of craps and slightly ahead with the VP vulturing and following some of the greatest VP strategies of the Singers. And because the LID had a pretty, pretty good winning year, I had many happy endings with the casino chicks.

    Thank you very much

Dan Druff: Please re-ban Rob Singers latest sockpuppet. We have the site headed in the right direction with some new, legitimate members of the gambling and AP community joining now. Don't let Singer or his cronies destroy the progress please.

I made 6100 in Sports betting, however that is just around 7 percent...not even minimum wage based on time and effort..but its not my income stream so its a hobby with a profit this year. I bet around 2k on weekends only...less during baseball season. I lost 2300 at hold-em...a passion that I am trying to master.
Overall, alot of action, a year of ups and downs...and the thrill of victories, and the rush of action. Just what I like. Lost less than 400 on slots which i play here and there for fun.

but lets face it....with the gas, tolls, an wear and tear on the car....its a loss on the year. i have a 9 year old CRV with 280k miles on it. Part of that has to be accrued to gambling...even thoough I have a home in reno area and wif likes to go up on weekends as a get-away.Plus I like to do landscaping there....and keep it up for the escape from CA and its taxes. So overall a good year for me...for my standards and expectations

Kind of weird to talk about that. Also, I don't think it really matters. After you have identified a real edge you then decide how much you want to grind on it. You then also have to determine how much you can grind on the same spot. I know that I am not interested in any edges less than 150.00 per hour all inclusive. I am aware that not everyone here is an AP and they will dispute that it is impossible to generate consistent hourlies. I try to stay busy 20-25 hours a week.

It would also match the IP address for the sock puppet (singer) that was recently banned at WoV. See in addition to mooching other people's electricity for his camper/home, the millionaire video poker player, living in a camper, can mooch other people's internet, giving him new IP addresses to create sock puppets. Did I miss anything here Singer?

I won't be posting any numbers for Barney and his IRS ex son-in-law to peruse.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

The world is so unfair! If I read this correctly you average 3k + per week.

I don't earn this type of money. As a matter of fact most of my time in Vegas was a fun but very difficult struggle for the first 10 years or so. Most of this is because I just didn't have the ambition to make money or get ahead. I was too busy drinking with a friend or two or whatever. I suppose a very care free life in general. I found out long ago that it doesn't matter if your broke in this town because you can always find some money lying around on the ground and it is virtually impossible not to find free food somewhere.

Recently in the last 3 years I guess I got more serious about things. I started to save large amounts of cash, buy things like guns and cars, paid off the house, gave my wife over 50k in cash to hide... etc.

2017 was a strong year for me. I suppose one might say I just ran really good. This was the first year I played a ton of higher denomination VP. I think I hit over 750k in Jackpots. I don't really keep track. I have more money than I started with compared to Dec 2016 so that's good. I went on Vacation and spent around 6k... that was fun. I bought over 10k worth of ammo and weapons... decent investment in my mind. I bought a used Jeep and modified it... that totaled around 15k. I paid off 2 2014 vehicles... I think I paid one of them off in 2016 though so that. If I added everything up off the top of my head I would say I made over 60k in cash but goodness I had to of used over 40k in comp which in my mind is pretty huge. That's a lot of Good Eating and other things like around 100 bottles of booze, 150 cartons of cigarettes, clothes and other things.

I also forgot I have about 250 bags of coffee... it's out of control! My wife and her Hong Kong Friends love gift days. I try to give them cash or comp but they only want the next pot or pan or plastic garbage. They drive me nuts hounding me to go pick up gifts. I keep explaining to them I sleep during the gift giveaway time period!

I did find another computer comp glitch that lasted about 2 months so I am not sure how much I made on that. I was a bit nervous on this one because I didn't want to jeopardize being upside down or no mailed. All in all I think I came out over 12k in comp spread out 6 ways. Nice of them not to even care or track it. They didn't put us upside down or anything actually. This has happened many times in the past and comes up once in awhile so if your curious you should always check your comp/points after you swipe for something. If it doesn't come off you know the system is glitched. The only Casino to ever get upset about it was Circus Circus who put me upside down and says I have to earn it back. So I told them I will just let my card fall off eventually and get kicked out of the system. In the meantime I will just play on someone else's card if I want to play here.

Edit: I also forgot about all the coffee I have. I have about 250 bags of coffee right now so I have some value in that although I do plan to give away a bunch of it. My wife and her Honk Kong friends/family seem to love Gift Days. I try to give them money or comp but all they really want is the current gift no matter how terrible it is. They love them. I try to explain that I usually can't pick up the gifts because I sleep during that time frame.
