REAL highly improbably casino situations

after reading about the 18 yos, I ask..what are real highly improbable situations you have witnessed and/or been involved with. For me there are 2

After a bad night at harrahs in AC at craps 20 years ago, On the way out I had 5 red chips. I stopped at roulette, put 2 red chips on 26, and the other 3 chips on 3 other numbers. 26 came out 3 times in a row for me.

also, very recently at a 1-2 limit holdem-game I was playing till the no limit table opened up a spot...

hand 1----flop 10-10-10...i didnt pay attention to the suits

dealer puts the deck in the shuffle machine after taking out the second deck...cuts the card... deals

hand 2- flop 10-10-10 again not sure of suits.

Glitches in Casinos that last for years on end or even weeks or months. I am always surprised when they last so long.

Reaching into the hopper deflecting coins at certain bars on certain machines.
The friend who taught me was much better at it and never seemed to bang up his hand.
Another friend couldn't deflect them... most likely from fear of getting caught.

Great story! What did you end up doing with the Big Win... did you blow it on drugs and hookers like most of us? It makes me think of a famous quote from someone who had made a fortune. They asked him what did he do with all that money and he said something like well... half of it I blew on Fast Women, Drugs and Gambling (or something like that) and they asked him ok what did you do with the other half? He said I blew it. I am sure someone knows the quote better than I am trying to explain it lol.

I don't remember anything being highly improbable happening to me or witnessing it. I've seen a few dealt royals, but never gotten one. A friend of mine hit something with a 1 in 1500 chance to hit, twice in a row (about 1 in 2.25 million). Not that exciting or particularly crazy, though. I once held 3 to a royal on 10-play and connected a RF on two hands.

Playing 1-2 NL, was dealt 10, 4 of hearts three times in a row. Still nowhere near the odds of 18 yos in a row!

I have been dealt a Royal on Single Line many times. I did make one at the Golden Nugget LV back when they had the 10 play FP DB nickle machine so that was 2000 dollars. Funny thing is I was walking through there the next day and someone had the same machine locked up with a Dealt Royal as well... I think it was a different suit though. They had those games for a long time and that was at the end of the .6 card and those machines were shortly discontinued after that. I also flopped one on a FP JW 4700 Royal 100 Quad triple play machine nickels again but that machine had the double up feature at the Stardust before they decided to blow the place up. That game spit out the ticket for 705 dollars. I also flopped one at the Orleans years back on the nickle 9/7 DB near the buffet that starts at 1200 for the Dealt Royal... True story I think I hit for 1201 or 1202 LOL so it was just reset. I was happy but many times I used to play that it would always be over 2k and I played a lot of the quarter version as well but never hit on that bank.

I guess the best story is that one night I went to Circus Circus wanting to play for the 40k Sequential Royal on the Aces and Eights near the back by the buffet as well and they were putting in a new carpet so all the machines were down. So the bar at the Slots of Fun was still good and I had been playing it a lot. That was when everyone was across the street at the Rivera getting 1000 dollar rebates. Heck at that time the whole town was Loss Rebate Crazy. I was playing for some time and had a 4 to the Royal and Missed. Not long after that I was dealt the Royal for 1500 and change. I called a friend to tell him that I hit the Royal and I was looking at the Royal in spades... it was 10 thru A in sequence so I guess that is 77 mil to one or something but I don't really consider that being some big thing. I know another guy who was dealt the same Royal on another machine.

The biggest pay for a dealt Royal was a few months back that I posted on WoV... I had the Royal Dealt in Clubs on 4700/90 Jokers for 23,500.

Edit: By the way... it wasn't long ago, perhaps under a year Sams Town had a 10 play quarter machine upstairs I believe and some lady was playing some bad version of VP on it and hit a 10k Dealt Royal. She plays the next day and gets Dealt another 10k Royal. Sams Town takes the machine out and puts it in the parking garage! Sams Town is tired of Video Poker Players and they don't want any APs in there from what I have seen in the last year.

A newbie/virgin guy was playing craps at NYNY, and clueless he asked a dealer what he should do.

Dealer had him make PL w/odds, and come bets w/odds, continuously, aggressively pressing all the while.

A hot roll ensued.

The dealer also had the guy make PL and come bets with odds for the boys, continuously, aggressively pressing them as well.

Not sure how long it lasted or the total won but the guy was like a deer in the headlights once the devil danced, and the dealers were smiling like pigs in shit.

I saw a lady hit the .25 wheel of fortune in Binions about a year or so ago. I saw a guy hit the Megabucks in Wynn years ago. My wife hit a 5 play dealt royal picking up free play recently. I'm guessing that she hasn't even played more than 50k hands in her lifetime.

Double Super Times Pay VP gives you 400,000 credits if you get dealt a royal AND the multiplier comes on during the deal. That's only a 1 in 9.6 million chance of happening.

In March 2015 at Rincon, I was dealt AsJsTsKs, and the multiplier came on. The game pauses when it does this, as you wait to see which multiplier you get.

I just needed a Qs to get $200,000 (this was a 50c/credit machine).

Indeed, out came my black queen!

A queen of clubs, that is.

On a happier (but much lesser) note, I just got dealt this yesterday:



That happens about 1 in 53k hands dealt.

Here is one that is sorta interesting to me at least. It appears you can go bat $*** crazy at WoV and get Permanently Banned. Step Two head over to Diversity Tomorrow and rejoin all the same members from WoV... That has to be highly improbable! This makes me think of the Hitchhikers Guide and how the probability of that happening was 2 to the power of 267,709 to one against!! This has to be a glitch I am sure I will be banned from DT soon.

I am jealous Dan Druff about your 200k hit but can you resize your picture.... gosh that's Big lol !!?? I have actually had that draw for large hits on super times and double super times but never hit it. As a matter of fact I have air balled every scare after the draw on that version lol.

They call it fingerfucking the machine.

That's not a glitch really, its a design flaw in the mechanics. Depending on who makes the machines the reason it worked on bartops is that there's an escalator used to force the coins upwards from the hopper.
flicking the coins would either block the eye so other coins could pass through without being counted or it would force the mechanical lever and spring to stay up and not count down the coins coming out.
It's definitely a felony each time you get an extra coin and I think its a felony even when you attempt it.

I don't know how many machines it would work on or how well it worked, but if it worked as well as people let on, I don't know how some local bars didn't get raped silly since many of them had CO machines at one time. No security or eye in the sky watching. Perhaps after the fact after someone caught on they might be waiting for you if you kept going back to the same places.

The glitches I was talking about were separate from deflecting the coins. My long time friend was showing me at a bar on the strip and it worked on certain machines and always at the bar. I could be wrong but i think it worked on the Floor as well but at the bar you could position your body so that the camera wouldn't see what you were doing and you were constantly feeding the machine coins and cashing out or we would get the machine full of credits so it would spit. We tried never to let the hopper get empty as I am sure you know. We actually went up to Reno doing it as well. Those days we were always drunk and burning through money and we were at the tail end of it anyway. From what I understand it was all over the country and many places did get raped. Some people did this with their finger as you say and banged up their hands pretty good. My buddy showed me how to use a coin to deflect which worked pretty good. As you say this is a felony for sure if you get caught which we never did. With the combination of getting in on the tail end and not getting too greedy we got away with it but we didn't make enough money from it either. Easy come easy go in those younger days for me. Heck you want to talk felony and crazy we used to know this guy who would go into Circus Circus with what they called a snake and rape the machines. That's a little crazy and ballsy!

Now at that hour on the Strip when we were doing it we were fighting off the ladies of the evening shoeing them away.
It is funny at that hour they come down drastically in price telling us that this is the time for the special rate!

When I mentioned glitches I meant more recent things after TITO came about. I just get surprised when things last for months on end and even years especially in this modern era.
I suppose one example is when I find Comp Glitches and they I can swipe for days on end.
